Here's How to Submit Your Car for the Hot Wheels Legends Tour

Hot Wheels is on the search for its next fan-inspired die-cast model, and our colleagues at Road & Track are proud to be teaming up with the iconic company to help. Do you think your car has what it takes to become a real, actual Hot Wheels model? Here’s how to enter it into the Legends Tour.

Step 1:

Film a two-minute walkaround video of your car, talking about all of its unique features to give judges an idea of what they’re looking at. Make sure to hold your camera steady, and please, film horizontally. It’s also important that you don’t add any music or sound effects.

Step 2:

Film another two-minute video, this time filled with the best beauty shots you can get of your car. Be sure to capture a wide angle so the judges don’t miss anything. Also make sure to include detail shots to show off some of the more intricate details that make your car great.

Step 3:

Combine both videos to create a single four-minute video, then upload it to YouTube for submission. Head on over to HotWheels.com/Legends to enter your video using the link you just created.

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is now on its third year, and it’s gone virtual for 2020. The Road & Track “stop,” hosted by motorsports ambassador Jarod DeAnda, will feature professional drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr., R&T editor-in-chief Mike Guy, and Hot Wheels designers Steve Vandervate and Mark Jones. There are also going to be special appearances from professional driver Pat Long, DJ Skee, and actor Paxton Booth. If your car is selected, it’ll make an appearance on the live stream happening on September 10 at 8 p.m. ET.

Submit your designs here, and make sure to tune in to Road & Track’s YouTube page on September 10 at 8 p.m. ET to watch the judging panel LIVE.
