This $17.5 Million Florida Mansion Has Its Own Private Racetrack

Have a bunch of money to blow and love driving? We can’t think of a better way to spend it than on this Florida home with its own private racetrack.

Built for an RV sales mogul in Thonotosassa, a suburb outside Tampa, this French Provincial–style mansion has eight bedrooms, 26 bathrooms, and two pools. It’s built on 36 acres of land and includes a bowling alley, a horse stable, a two-story guest house, a boathouse, an impeccable waterfront view, and a total of 42,782 square feet of under-roof space. But none of that stuff is what has us excited.

Also on the property is a separate 11,000-square-foot warehouse that held the previous owner’s 80-car collection which, according to The Drive, included cars such as a McLaren F1 LM, a Ferrari 250LM, and a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi Under Glass. It’s connected to a real, actual eight-turn paved racetrack that sits right next to the water. If this isn’t a dream home, I’m not sure what is.

The home, built in 2012, is currently listed on the Smith & Associates real-estate website for the low, low price of $17,500,000. If you’re in the market, know that taxes for the property in 2018 came out to around $130,000. Better move in before another wealthy car enthusiast does.
