    TVS Sales Breakup July 2025 – Jupiter, Apache, XL, Ntorq, Raider

    TVS Apache RTR 310 New ModelNew product launches in the company lineup are set to boost sales in the coming months
    Building on its positive momentum, TVS Motor Company recorded strong sales growth in July 2025. Two wheeler domestic sales stood at 3,08,720 units, up by 21.42% from 2,54,250 unit sales of July 2024. The company also ended its MoM performance on a positive note. It was a 9.86% improvement from 2,81,012 units sold in June 2025.
    In addition to robust sales, the two wheeler maker was a leader in the electric 2W segment, a position it has retained for the four consecutive months. There were also a number of new launches last month. TVS introduced the new Apache RTR 310 and Ntorq 125 Super Soldier Edition. TVS Norton V4 was spotted during test runs in UK markets. Earlier this week, there was the new TVS Orbiter, the third electric scooter launched. This e-scooter has been priced at Rs. 99,900.

    Turning to individual model performance, TVS Jupiter topped sales charts once again with 1,24,876 units sold last month. This was a 67.25% YoY growth from 74,663 units sold in July 2024. MoM sales also ended on a positive note with 15.65% higher sales figures over 1,07,980 unit sales of June 2025. The Jupiter currently commands a 40.45% share in the company portfolio.

    At No. 2 was TVS Apache. Sales improved strongly on a YoY basis by 22.44% to 37,566 units, well over 30,681 unit sales of July 2024. Sales however declined by 9.23% when compared to 41,386 units sold in June 2025. There were also lower sales recorded for the XL moped by 9.51% YoY to 33,991 units while its MoM sales were marginally higher by 1.93% over 33,349 units sold in June 2025.
    Ntorq and Raider sales too dipped by 2.13% and 0.15% YoY to 26,258 units and 24,511 units while Ntorq witnessed a 15.06% growth on a MoM basis. TVS iQube electric scooter showed off strong demand in the past month. Sales improved to 23,029 units from 21,064 units, marking a 9.33% YoY growth. It was even stronger MoM sales which escalated by 61.68% over 14,244 unit sales of June. The new Orbiter, slotted below the iQube in the company’s electric two wheeler lineup is soon to draw in a fair share of attention, particularly with its affordable pricing, attractive colour options and IDC range of 158km.
    TVS Sport, Radeon, Zest
    TVS Sport, Radeon and Zest have each suffered YoY decline in sales though MoM analysis was more positive. Sport sales were down to 10,160 units, a 16.07% YoY de-growth while sales improved by 16.55% on a MoM basis. Radeon sales slipped by 3.88% YoY to 10,102 units while MoM sales were higher by 13.98%. Zest too saw its sales decline by 8.69% YoY but climbed up 3.22% MoM.

    TVS Ronin, 225cc cruiser saw the highest percentage growth in July 2025. Sales were up 209.77% to 5,517 units well over 1,781 unit sales of July 2024. It also showed off strong MoM sales by 28.72% when compared to 4,286 units sold in June 2025. Lower down the sales order but also showing off strong MoM demand was the Star City and Apache 310 of which 2,768 units and 495 units were sold in June 2025. More

    TVS Ntorq 150 Launch Date Is 4th September – Aerox, Xoom 160 Rival

    TVS Ntorq 150 TeasedThe sporty 150cc to 160cc scooter segment in India is not exactly over crowded. We currently have three or four contenders in this space and soon, TVS Motor is set to crash this party with Ntorq 150 (name not confirmed). While the test mule sightings and spy shots occurance are zero, TVS is gearing up for a full fledged launch.

    Just after the company launched Orbit electric scooter, TVS Motor has shifted the spotlight on a new ICE scooter. This is not just any other ICE scooter, but the company’s most anticipated and most powerful scooter to date. We’re talking about the soon to launch Ntorq 150 scooter (name not confirmed).
    As confirmed by the company, the most powerful Ntorq scooter is set to launch on September 4th, 2025. This is the first time TVS is venturing into a high displacement scooter segment and is likely to emerge a popular offering owing to already sought-after and celebrated Ntorq brand.
    Not a lot is known about TVS Ntorq 150 and the way it will look. It might take on a maxi-scooter design or a large sporty-format scooter design. The teaser has revealed it’s headlight design which will get a quad-projector LED setup, two for low beam and two for high beam.

    The headlight setup is likely to be positioned on its apron and not on its handlebar cowl. Falling into the Ntorq brand, design will probably be on the sporty side with a lot of aggression and muscle, attracting young buyers.
    What to expect?
    Powertrain details are completely under the wraps and nothing has been leaked yet. One could speculate that it will displace between 150cc to 160cc and might churn out around 14 bhp to 15 bhp of peak power. Considering the market trends, TVS may go with liquid cooling and extract as much power as they can.

    Immediate rivals like Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160 both feature liquid cooled powertrain, while Aprilia continues with an air-cooled setup, but has a higher 175cc displacement. Common between sll three of these sporty scooters is 14-inch alloy wheel platform, something which we hope TVS also implements.

    Where features are concerned, soon to launch TVS Ntorq 150 might pack a TFT instrument cluster with a host of Bluetooth enabled connected features along with navigation, LED lighting all around, disc brakes at both ends, a large under-seat storage enabled by a central spine housing the fuel tank and more.

    Honda 2W Sales Breakup July 2025 – Activa, Shine, CB350, Dio, Hornet

    Honda2W sales showed off a strong 6.20% YoY growth with 4,66,331 unit sales in July 2025. This was a 27,213 unit improvement from 4,39,118 units sold in July 2024. The company has also witnessed strong MoM growth which had stood at 3,88,812 units in June 2025.

    Honda Activa, the undisputed topper in this segment, scored a 21.37% YoY growth. Sales surged past the 2 lakh sales mark at 2,37,413 units in July 2025, up from 1,95,604 units sold in July 2024. The Activa scooter commands a 50.91% share, up from a 47.13% share held in June 2025.
    Honda’s motorcycle range suffered some setbacks. Shine 125+SP125 saw its sales decline by 1.37% to 1,38,665 units. Unicorn sales also dipped 14.54% to 30,572 units while the Dio scooter suffered a 16.49% YoY de-growth to 27,951 units. There was also the Shine 100 that saw its YoY sales fall by 7.97% to 20,993 units over 22,812 unit sales of July 2024.
    Also on a negative curve was the Livo with a marginal 0.16% YoY de-growth to 3,664 unit sales in the month of July 2025. Honda SP160 sales more than halved YoY as the numbers declined by 58.74% to 2,234 down from 5,414 units sold in the same month last year, losing 3,180 units in volume.

    The highest percentage gain was reported for Honda CB350. Sales went up to 2,027 units last month, up by 104.95% from 1,011 unit sales of July 2024. It was followed by the H’ness 350 with 1,170 unit sales suffering a 10.96% YoY decline. Hornet 2.0 too saw lower sales by 38.81% to 782 units while CB200X sales were lower by 12.50% on a YoY basis to 476 units.
    Big Bike Sales
    Lower down the sales order was the Honda QC1 with 207 unit sales, CB500 of which 41 units were sold last month and the CBR650 with 39 unit sales. There was also the XL750 with 22 unit sales marking a 22.22% YoY growth from 18 units sold in the same month last year. The list also included the Activa e with 16 unit sales, GL1800 with 8 units sold and CB1000 with 6 units sold in the month of July 2025.     TVS Orbiter vs Rivals Compared – Vida, Kinetic, Activa e, Rizta, Chetak

    TVS Orbiter EVTVS has been a long standing champion in the family format electric scooter with iQube and its three trim levels. However, there has been a lot of activity in this segment and TVS needed something to hold its position in this segment and further increase market share. That’s where TVS Orbiter comes into action.
    Orbiter is still a family format scooter aiming to offer all the practicality in the world, but it manages to establish a unique identity of its own, without being overshadowed by iQube. Spec-to-spec, TVS Orbiter is positioned below iQube in the company’s lineup. We compared it with similar family format scooters to see how Orbiter fares against competition on paper.
    TVS Orbiter vs Rivals Compared – Features
    Like Orbiter is to iQube, we compiled a comparison post of affordable electric scooters including Vida VX2, Honda QC1, Ather Rizta and Chetak 3001, while Kinetic has just popped up. One thing we loved about TVS Orbiter is that there are no hidden ‘Pack’ that usually embodies all the advertised features and gizmos.
    TVS Orbiter vs Rivals – Features
    There are no variants too and all advertised features are offered as standard. Because not all OEMs follow a common practice showing prices on their websites, it is all over the place and we will let the table do the talking. Only the Orbiter, QC1 and Chetak 3001 come with drum brakes at both ends, while others offer at least front disc brake.
    Other than QC1 with 12” front and 10” rear wheel size, this segment offers 12” alloy wheels at both ends. TVS Orbiter stands out in this segment with 14” front and 12” rear combination giving it a commanding road presence. Orbiter’s underseat storage is par for this segment at 34L, while Kinetic DX offers the largest 37L boot and QC1, the smallest at 26L.
    All vehicles here offer LED headlights, tail lights and DRLs, while QC1 lacks DRLs. A touchscreen instrument cluster is not a thing in this segment, but Vida and Rizta offer TFT clusters, depending on variants. Orbiter gets a LCD cluster, but it is rich on informatics and features like Bluetooth and navigation along with a host of connected tech enabled by SmartXonnect app. QC1’s cluster is the least appealing here with no real features to boast.
    Only Vida VX2 offers a pillion backrest, while only the Kinetic DX offers keyless go, a speaker and a concealed charger. Cruise control is only seen with TVS Orbiter and Kinetic DX.
    TVS Orbiter vs Rivals – Specs
    Specs & Dimensions
    TVS Orbiter comes equipped with a 3.1 kWh battery pack which promises a range of 158 km on a single charge. Which is impressive considering Rizta promises 159 km range from a 3.7 kWh battery pack. Other than that, Honda QC1 has by far the least range of just 80 km from its smallest (in this comparo) 1.5 kWh battery pack. VX2 promises up to 142 km and Chetak 3001 up to 127 km.
    On paper, Vida VX2 has the highest power at 6 kW, followed by 4.8 kW from Kinetic DX, 4.3 kW of Rizta and then comes 2.5 kW of Orbiter’s hub mounted motor. Even where top speed is concerned, Orbiter can go till 68 km/h, while DX can touch 90 km/h and Vida and Ather offering 80 km/h top speed. Chetak 3001 has 63 km/h and Honda QC1 just 50 km/h.
    TVS Orbiter vs Rivals – Dimensions
    Because of its larger 14-inch front wheel, TVS Orbiter has the highest ground clearance in this comparison (out of the ones disclosed) at 169 mm. Where weight is concerned, TVS Orbiter weighs 112 kg, while VX2 can go as low as 106 kg. Except for Kinetic DX’s 704 mm seat height, Orbiter’s 763 mm seat height is lower than other rivals. More

    2025 Honda CB350 Lineup Updated In JapanWhile the retro-classic motorcycle segment is firmly ruled by Royal Enfield in India, there are multiple rival brands trying to topple the leader. These include Honda, Jawa, Yezdi, BSA, Triumph and others. In Japan, however, popularity is quite high for Honda’s CB350 lineup and the company has just updated the colourways of these motorcycles. Let’s take a closer look.
    Honda CB350 Lineup Updated
    In India, Honda’s retro-classic motorcycle range consists of three offerings – H’ness CB350, CB350 RS and CB350 (Classic). All three motorcycles challenge the domain set by Royal Enfield. These motorcycles are manufactured in India and then shipped to Japan, where the popularity is quite high.
    There, Honda has given these motorcycles different names. For example, the H’ness CB350 is called GB350, CB350 RS is called BG350 S and CB350 (Classic) is called GB350 C. For MY25 versions, these motorcycles have been given new colours to boost their appeal in Japan.

    The newest of this trio is CB350 (Classic), which is sold as GB350 C in Japan. For the Japanese market, Honda is offering two unique colours with 2025 GB350 C in matte finish to accentuate their retro appeal. These colours include Matte Sand Storme Beige and Matte Buret Silver.

    Both of these colourways get a matte finish and a brown seat covers with white piping. Matte Sand Storme Beige colourway is on sale in India as Mat Dune Brown with similar colour schemes offered only with DLX Pro variant. While the Matte Buret Silver seems to be a new shade, which is a darker version of Pearl Deep Ground Gray colour offered in India.

    In India, this motorcycle is called H’ness CB350 and GB350 in Japan. For the Japanese market, Honda is offering new shades like Classic White, which looks quite nice. Other colours introduced with 2025 CB350 Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Hawks Eye Blue dual tone colourway which used to be on offer in India, introduced at launch in 2020.

    Interestingly, Japanese GB350 comes equipped with a single-piece seat as standard. It gets a slight step for pillion and a Brown seat cover. In India, however, H’ness CB350 gets split seat as standard which is Black in DLX variant and Brown in DLX Pro and DLX Pro Chrome.

    With a slight scrambler-esque design language, CB350 RS is the sportiest version of this platform and is launched in Japan as GB350 S. For MY25 version, Honda is offering two colourways and both of them look like they are in matte finish. These are called Heavy Gray Metallic-U and Beta Silver Metallic.

    India’s EV segment is in a nascent stage and there’s plenty of unlocked potential. With that in mind, Vinfast is working at an accelerated pace to launch its electric cars in India. The first EVs this Vietnamese brand is introducing to our market are VF 6 and VF 7. Let’s check out the recently revealed launch details.
    Vinfast VF 6, VF 7 launch dates confirmed
    As per the latest announcement, Vinfast VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs will be launched on 6th September. VF 6 will be available in two trims – Earth and Wind. Both of these have 6 exterior colour options – Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey and Urban Mint.

    VF 6 has a black interior theme. Power will be derived from a 59.6 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP range of 480 km. ARAI certified range will be revealed at the time of launch. VF 6 will have a front-axle-mounted 204 hp electric motor.
    Vinfast VF 7 will be available in three trims – Earth, Wind and Sky. Exterior colour options are the same as that of VF 6. The base Earth variant of VF 7 has Black interior theme, whereas the Wind and Sky variants have Mocca Brown interior theme. Interiors have a premium feel and come with contrast stitching on the upholstery.

    VF 7 electric SUV has a larger 70.8 kWh battery pack. It will be available in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The 204 hp front electric motor is common, whereas the AWD variant generates combined power output of 350 hp and 500 Nm with the combo of front and rear motors. VF 7 2WD variant has a range of 450 km, whereas the 4WD variant offers 431 km as per WLTP standards.
    Equipment
    A number of features will likely be common for both VF 6 and VF 7. Across both SUVs, the equipment list will include features like Level 2 ADAS, head-up display (HUD) and a comprehensive range of connectivity features. Both SUVs will have all-LED lighting. Other highlights include dual-zone AC, ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, vegan leather dual-tone interior and large panoramic glass roof. VF6 uses 18-inch wheels, whereas VF7 has 19-inch wheels.

    Bullish on India
    Vinfast has taken big bets in the Indian EV segment, with investment of around Rs 4,000 crore over five years. The Tamil Nadu plant was recently inaugurated, which will have an initial production capacity of 50,000 units per year. This is Vinfast’s third plant globally and the first one outside Vietnam. By 2030, the production capacity could be increased to 1 million vehicles per year.

    Vinfast’s Tamil Nadu plant will also cater to demand for its cars in overseas markets. The company will also be looking to expand its portfolio. In the future, new models such as the Limo Green and Minio Green could be launched. These have already been trademarked in India. Vinfast has partnered with leading dealer groups to set up 35 outlets across India by the end of this year.     Kia Syros EV Spied In India At A Charging Station – Next To Windsor EV

    After targeting the premium EV segment with EV6 and EV9, Kia is now stepping up focus on the mass-market EV segment in India. Towards that end, Kia has already launched the Carens Clavis EV. Next on the list is Kia Syros EV, which has now been spied on test in India by automotive enthusiast Sharon Satheesan. Latest spy shots show a test mule at a charging station in Kochi. Let’s check out the details.
    No major exterior changes
    In terms of its exterior design and styling, Kia Syros EV is largely the same as the ICE-powered Syros. The test mule is heavily camouflaged at the front and rear and up to the window line. Most of the visible parts like the pillars, ORVMs and roof rails are the same as seen with ICE-powered Syros. A shark fin antenna is also visible.

    There will be EV-specific features such as a closed-off grille and a slot for the charging port. A test mule spotted earlier in South Korea was seen with the charging port placed on the left side. This test vehicle was also fully camouflaged. However, the lighting elements at the front and rear appeared the same as the ICE Syros.
    Some minor changes could be there in the detailing at the front and rear. Side profile will be largely the same, although there could be some EV-specific badging. The test vehicle spotted in Korea was seen with the same alloy wheels, as currently offered with the ICE Syros. The only difference was the green-coloured brake callipers, hinting at the vehicle’s electric underpinnings. EV-specific badging is possible at the rear as well.

    Road presence will be largely the same for Syros EV, compared to the ICE Syros. Dimensions are expected to be the same – 3,995 mm long, 1,805 mm wide and 1,680 mm tall. Kia Syros has a wheelbase of 2,550 mm. Some exclusive colour options could be there for the EV version, although the ICE Syros is already available with 8 exciting monotone colours.

    Kia Syros EV – Performance, battery, range
    Although specs are not confirmed officially, it is expected that Syros EV could borrow battery packs from the Hyundai Inster EV. The latter utilizes a 42-kWh or a 49-kWh battery pack. These battery packs have Nickel Manganese Cobalt (NMC) chemistry. Range is 370 km with the larger battery pack. 10% to 80% charge can be achieved in around 30 minutes. Similar specs are likely for Syros EV.
    Kia Syros EV will primarily challenge rivals such as Tata Punch EV and Windsor EV. Select variants could also compete with the likes of Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400 EV and upcoming Maruti Fronx EV. Syros EV could be offered at a starting price of around Rs 14 lakh.     Hero Sales Breakup July 2025 – Splendor, HF, Xoom, Glamour, Xpulse, Karizma

    Hero MotoCorp has posted strong sales growth on a YoY basis in July 2025. Sales improved by 4.50% to 3,87,330 units, up from 3,70,660 units relating to a 16,670 unit volume increase. MoM sales however, fell by 26.14% when compared to 5,24,414 units sold in June 2025, a month before.

    Hero Splendor continued to dominate both the company sales list and the top 10 motorcycle segment with 2,22,774 unit sales in the past month. This was despite a YoY decline of 8.98% from 2,44,761 units sold in July 2024. Sales momentum also declined on a MoM basis as sales fell sharply by 32.71% from 3,31,057 units sold in June 2025. The Splendor currently commands a 57.52% share within this list.
    At No. 2, HF Deluxe, a strong performer in the commuter segment, regaled for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and affordability has seen 71,477 unit sales last month, a 53.30% YoY growth. Its MoM sales however, fell by 29.15% as sales in June 2025 had crossed the 1 lakh unit mark at 1,00,878 units. The HF Deluxe currently commands an 18.45% share on this list.
    Hero Sales Breakup July 2025 – YoY
    Destini 125 came in next with 19,726 units sold last month. This was a 245.52% growth over 5,709 units sold in July 2024. MoM sales were also lower by 2.06%. Growth on a YoY basis but a decline in MoM demand was seen in the case of Hero Passion. Sales were up 58.86% to 18,109 units from 11,399 units YoY whereas MoM sales dipped by 31.01%. Sales of the Xtreme 125R fell sharply. Sales were down to 12,287 units in the past month which was a 52.45% YoY and 23.07% MoM de-growth.
    Demand for Hero Vida Surge in July 2025
    The Hero Vida VX2 electric scooter which was launched in July 1 with Battery-as-a-Service has brought in rich rewards for the company. Sales were up 144.02% YoY while it also witnessed a 56.38% MoM growth to 11,225 units. Sales had stood at 4,600 units and 7,178 units in July 2024 and June 2025 respectively.
    Another Hero model to show off YoY and MoM growth was the Glamour. Sales were up at 10,696 units which was a 12.84% YoY and 24.10% MoM growth. The recently launched Glamour X is likely to take sales ceiling higher. Pleasure scooter sales declined by 38.21% YoY and by 18.97% MoM to 8,495 units.

    Xoom sales escalated significantly. The company has been aggressively expanding its presence in the scooter segment, and Xoom 125 is its latest upgrade. Sales have been hugely encouraging with 6,543 units sold last month which was a 110.66% YoY growth from 3,106 unit sales of July 2024. MoM sales saw an even higher improvement by 574.54% from 970 units sold in June 2025.
    Lower down the sales order was Hero Xpulse with 4,023 units sold last month relating to a 59.45% YoY and 69.53% MoM growth. Xtreme 160/200 however, suffered a YoY decline to 1,597 units but witnessed a huge 943.79% MoM growth over just 153 unit sales of June 2025. Xtreme 250R accounted for 367 unit sales last month, a 12.58% MoM growth. There were also 6 units of Karizma 210 and 5 units of Maverick 440 sold last month recording hefty YoY and MoM decline. More
