Since we’re always a little bit nostalgic here at Car and Driver, we decided to go hunting for our very first cars for this edition of Window Shop With Us, where we video us killing time looking for cars on the Internet. If nothing else, this exercise led to some interesting stories about bad teenage driving, safety-conscious parents who forgot to buy a car with airbags, and some interesting vanity plates that made everyone except one police officer laugh.
Some of us had a harder job finding a version of our first cars that we’d be willing to purchase today. In other words, we weren’t driving cars that were destined to become classics. Still, it was a fun trip down memory lane.
