Yezdi Adventure Testing On Highway At 100 Kmph – Caught By Dominar Rider

Yezdi Adventure will rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 2022While Yezdi ADV will directly rival Royal Enfield Himalayan, the scrambler will take on upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter
After successful resurrection of Jawa, Classic Legends is working to revive other iconic brands such as Yezdi and BSA. While Yezdi will be focused on domestic market, BSA will cater exclusively to UK and other European markets. Yezdi range will initially include two bikes, Roadking scrambler and an ADV. These have been spotted quite frequently in production-ready form. Launch can be expected sometime next year.
    Yezdi scrambler and ADV styling
Both Yezdi bikes have retro styling with features such as round headlamp and spoke wheels. Scrambler model gets some additional retro bits such as round rear-view mirrors. On ADV, rear view mirrors have a contemporary design. Features that are common across both bikes include LED headlamp, sleek cylindrical-shaped LED turn indicators, fork gaiters and knuckle guards.
Talking about unique aspects of these bikes, Yezdi scrambler has wide, flat handlebar, upswept exhaust, sleek seat design with quilted pattern, and rear type hugger. The bike has short tail section and number plate is mounted on rear tyre hugger. Metallic grab rails can be seen at the rear, which are long enough to support decent sized luggage items.
Just like Himalayan, Yezdi ADV has a dominating profile. It will be hard to miss on the streets. Latest spy video from Bullet Guru shows the Yezdi adventure testing on highway at speed of over 100 kmph. The video was captured by Bajaj Dominar rider.
    [embedded content]
Some key features include secondary raised front fender, a tall windscreen, sculpted fuel tank, full digital instrument console packed in rugged, shockproof casing, and split seats. Handlebar is placed at just the right height, which should ensure optimal control and comfort when negotiating uneven terrain.
The bike has dedicated racks at both front and rear. Front rack is an integrated unit that also works to protect the fuel tank, radiator and engine. Yezdi ADV has upswept exhaust with the angle of elevation higher than that of its scrambler sibling.
    Engine and specs
Both Yezdi bikes are expected to share an entirely new platform. There could be some slight variations based on specific design and hardware requirements. It is likely that Yezdi bikes will borrow the engine from Jawa Perak. The 334 cc, liquid cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC motor churns out max power of 30.64 ps and peak torque of 32.74 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox.
At the front, both bikes have standard telescopic forks. Yezdi ADV is likely to use 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. In comparison, its scrambler sibling will have 17-inch units at both ends. The ADV uses knobby dual-purpose tyres whereas the scrambler gets road-biased units. At the rear, ADV has monoshock suspension with preload adjustability. Scrambler is likely to have dual gas-charged suspension setup.
If Classic Legends has plans to play the volumes game with Royal Enfield, it will have to opt for competitive pricing. If that’s how it turns out to be, Yezdi bikes could be launched in the range of Rs 1.75 lakh to Rs 2.10 lakh. More

Image – Power RacerElectric two wheeler demand is on the rise with 355 percent YoY increase – Petrol scooters posted a 37.32 percent YoY de-growth
Two wheeler buyer are slowly but surely turning their attention to electric scooters. More established e-scooter makers such as Bajaj Auto and TVS with Chetak and iQube respectively, are seeing a steady uptick in sales. Between the two, it was TVS iQube that has posted higher sales numbers in November 2021.
Petrol powered scooters on the other hand are facing dismal sales. Scooter sales in the past month dipped as much as 37.32 percent down to 2,86,765 units from 4,57,519 units sold in November 2020. Much of the blame these poor sales can be attributed to the ever increasing price of petrol, which has now crossed Rs 100/liter mark across India. Suzuki Burgman Street and Honda Grazia were the only two scooters on this list to post YoY growth.
Top 10 Scooters Nov 2021 – Honda Activa Leads List
Leading in scooter sales was the hotly favoured Honda Activa (Activa 6G and Activa 125). Despite a YoY de-growth, it was the only scooter in its segment to see sales cross the 1 lakh unit mark while all other scooters failed to even pass 50,000 unit sales. Activa sales dipped 45.05 percent to 1,24,082 units in November 2021, down from 2,25,822 units sold in November 2020. This was a difference of 1,01,740 units even as the Activa commands a 43.27 percent share in its segment.
Honda now looks forward to the new Activa 125cc Premium Edition adding to its sales numbers. Launched in two variants, Activa 125 Premium Edition is priced from Rs 78,725 for Drum Alloy while Disc variant is priced at Rs 82,280 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor Spied With Single Side Exhaust

New Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 With Single Side ExhaustA new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 test mule has been spied testing – Which has a single side exhaust
In the 650cc segment, Royal Enfield offers the Interceptor and the Continental GT. Both these motorcycles are the best selling motorcycles in the segment in the country. They are also the only 650cc motorcycles which are made in India and exported around the world.
These flagship motorcycles have been on sale for a few years now. While it still carries a very minimalistic approach and is far from the sophisticated technologies offered in modern premium machines, it also gets some useful features not seen before from the Chennai-based manufacturer. Earlier this year, they did get a minor update. But it still missed out on features like tripper navigation, which was first introduced on the Meteor 350 last year, and on the Classic 350 in Sep 2021.
    2022 Royal Enfield 650 Update
It is likely that Royal Enfield will dish out more updates to the 650 Twins in 2022. Apart from adding Tripper Navigation system, RE could also update the exhaust system. Instead of the twin exhaust setup (one on each side), RE could offer a single side exhaust system, as seen in the latest test mule that was spied near company plant in Chennai.
The motorcycle remains same – twin cylinder 650cc. It is only the exhaust system, which will be routed via a single end-can, instead of the double end-can in current 650 RE. It is not clear as to why Royal Enfield is testing a new exhaust system with single end-can. Many customers who are buying the RE 650, want the dual end-can exhaust.
New Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 With Single Side Exhaust
There could be some benefits though, of the single side exhaust. Reducing the exhaust end can to just 1, will help reduce the weight by a few kgs. The upswept end-can of test mule will reduce the width of the motorcycle, allowing ease of riding in traffic or in tight spaces. It will also be easier to caliberate as well as source – especially in these times of global parts shortage.
    Tripper Navigation
Other update expected on board the 2022 650 Twins, is the Tripper Navigation system. This offers turn-by-turn navigation as standard across the range. Meteor 350 was the first bike to be laced with such a feature. It is now also on offer with Classic 350 new gen.
The Tripper comes in two parts- the pod beside the instrument cluster and the mobile app. While the pod acts as a face, the app acts a brain which essentially means that the rider enters coordinates of the location in the app and the display pod shows turn-by-turn instructions of the route.
New Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 With Single Side Exhaust
The app displays information from Google Location and Maps by making use of the smartphone’s processing power as well as GPS for navigation. Using this app also means that navigation won’t be compromised even outside the network coverage area. The display pod not only provides navigation commands with arrows and distances but also captures the rider’s attention by flashing the arrows when a turn approaches close.
With the arrows gradually filling in when turn approaches, it gets caught in the rider’s peripheral vision which tells the rider to take appropriate action without getting distracted from the road. Royal Enfield will eventually offer this on all their current as well as upcoming new motorcycles.

New TVS Ntorq Thor, Spider Man Editions Launched – Iron Man Discontinued?

New TVS Ntorq Thor and Spider Man Editions launchedNew Super Squad variants are in addition to existing Captain America and Black Panther – Iron Man Edition removed from website
Aiming to provide more choices to superhero fans, TVS has launched Spiderman and Thor variants of Ntorq 125. The timing seems perfect, as Spider-Man: No Way Home has just opened in theatres across India. Theme of the movie also connects, as identity of our own friendly neighbourhood web-slingers will be revealed soon.
Same goes for fans of hammer-wielding Thor, the protector of both gods and humans. Next edition of Thor, Love and Thunder is slated for release in July 2022. Ntorq Spiderman and Thor variants are priced at Rs 84,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the same as other Super Squad variants.
TVS Ntorq Spiderman and Thor variant details
While Spiderman’s suit has undergone numerous variations across movies and comic books, Ntorq Spiderman edition sticks to the original red and blue theme. This one probably has the highest recall among most Spidey fans.
Front apron of the scooter gets the red shade whereas the front fender comes in blue. A mix of red and blue can be seen on side panels. Enhancing the theme further are spider and web-like decals which cover much of the body panels.
New TVS Ntorq Thor and Spider Man Editions launched
Ntorq Thor Super Squad edition looks relatively sober with a mix of black, grey and red shades. Decals matching various aspects of the superhero such as hammer, lightning, knitted dark grey suit and burgundy cape can be seen on side panels.
It is apparent that Ntorq Spiderman edition will be much easier to spot, as compared to Thor variant. Ntorq Spidey will have a strong street presence, just like Captain America and Black Panther Ntorq. The Iron Man edition of Ntorq is no longer listed on the official website. It has likely been discontinued, as the Avenger dies in Endgame.
Theme of Ntorq Spiderman and Thor variants extends to the SmartXonnect app as well. UI has been customized to reflect notable aspects of the superheroes such as their silhouette, Spiderman logo, Thor’s hammer, etc. Aim is to make overall experience a lot more engrossing and fun for superhero fans. Customized UI for the app is also available for existing Ntorq Super Squad variants.
TVS Ntorq Iron Man Edition removed from website – Likely discontinued
    No superhero powers
New Ntorq Spiderman and Thor editions will continue with the same features and hardware as existing Ntorq. Some key features include aggressive front cluster, aircraft inspired styling, gaming console inspired speedometer, sporty split grab rail, split type rear fender, stubby muffler, afterburner styled rear vents, and sporty T-shaped rear lamp.
In terms of comfort and convenience, the scooter offers patented EZ centre stand, engine kill switch, pass by switch, large underseat storage with USB charger and light, external fuel fill, and dual steering lock. Safety features include high speed alert and parking brake.
Ntorq is powered by a 124.8 cc motor that generates 9.2 hp of max power at 7,000 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The scooter has under bone tubular type frame with telescopic front suspension and coil spring units at rear. It runs on 12-inch alloy wheels, shod with 100/80 tubeless tyres at both ends. Braking duties on disc variants are performed by 220mm disc at front and 130mm drum brake at rear. More

2022 Honda Navi Modified By Workshops In The USA

2022 Honda Navi ModifiedHonda is offering its own range of customisation packs called Icon and TrueTimber with Navi in USA
Just a few days ago, Honda Navi went on sale in USA at a launch price of USD 1,807 (approx. INR 1.34 lakh). Barely a week later, custom Navi motorcycles were showcased at the model’s media ride event at Westside Museum in Southern California. These projects have been given life by two US-based aftermarkets workshops- MNNTHBX and Steady Garage.
2022 Honda Navi Modified were also displayed at last month’s IMS Outdoors motorcycle show at OC Fair & Event Center. The two workshops mentioned above were given early access to the platform by the bikemaker to enable potential buyers and fans to see the possibilities that can be achieved.
    MNNTHBX- Race-inspired Navi
Both aftermarket brands dressed up the miniMoto in their respective manner that gave Navi a more serious look. Starting with the one created by MNNTHBX, the workshop has incorporated a racetrack pit bike theme for its build. In this iteration of Navi, the bike flaunts racy red, white and blue graphics which are complemented by a matte black finish of internals, alloy wheels, handlebar and front forks to lend it a sporty appeal.
Ergonomics have been revised with a Renthal low-positioned MX-style handlebar while dynamics of the bike have been made sportier with a single shock absorber sourced from Öhlins. Further, it gets a fully custom-built Yoshimura exhaust wrapped in carbon fibre. In order to make it more appealing for Gen Z, MNNTHBX has plonked a full sound system including two 6.5 inch Kicker speakers between the rider’s legs.
    2022 Honda Navi Modified
    Steady Garage- Going Neo-Retro
Steady Garage, on the other hand, takes a different approach on Navi which appears to take inspiration from Grom and Ruckus- the other two miniMotos in Honda’s portfolio. The biggest highlight is the larger and wider rear tyre which they have barely managed to fit. It has been equipped with a unique custom exhaust with stainless-steel flex pipe and twin outlet tips.
In this version of a custom Navi, Steady Garage has employed a high-end custom-built mono-shock by Taiwanese company Gears Racing. All these modifications lead to a clean look of the miniMoto. Another interesting feature is the custom-built saddle wrapped in carbon fibre following the lines of the diamond tail. The paintwork on body panels is all custom with the most eye-catching touch being the illuminated pinstriping.
The LED strips change colours giving Navi the effect of a rolling neon sign. Another unique detail is a retro helmet visor attached to the headlamp. Interested Navi owners can opt for their favourite customization as both MNNTHBX and Steady Garage will offer several of the components used in their projects.
In addition, Honda Signature Accessories is offering special graphics kits that were developed in a pair of collaborations. Powered by a 109.2cc single-cylinder mill, Honda Navi sold in USA is being exported from India. More
