New Triumph 400cc Bike Teased – Based On Speed 400, Launch On 17th Sep

New Triumph 400cc Bike TeasedSlated to launch on September 17th, new Triumph 400cc bike will rival Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Harley X440 and the likes
The strategic partnership between Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles has been fruitful for both brands. While step 1 was to introduce an affordable duo of 400cc motorcycles with competitive prices for Triumph brand, step 2 was to expand the lineup. In this regard, Bajaj and Triumph will launch a new 400cc motorcycle based on Speed 400 on September 17th.
    New Triumph 400cc Bike Teased
Following the recent rumours and speculations, Bajaj Triumph duo is set to launch two new motorcycles based on the 400 platform. These motorcycles will be manufactured by Bajaj Auto in India and will be positioned as an entry portal into (in terms of price) the Triumph ecosystem of premium motorcycles.
Now, Triumph has just announced this upcoming motorcycle for the very first time. As seen in the image, the company is set to launch another modern classic motorcycle. The image is dark and does not disclose a lot of information. The fuel tank looks almost identical to that of Speed 400’s.
Not just that, it even dons the same Carnival Red / Phantom Black colourway as Speed 400 as well. Looking at this fuel tank, we can strike out the possibility of it being a Thruxton 400, which has been spied testing overseas. Thruxton 400 comes with a bikini fairing lending a stylish cafe racer appeal.
    New Triumph Thruxton 400 Render
We don’t see this fairing on the motorcycle that is set to launch (or unveil) in India on 17th September 2024. Hence, the identity of this upcoming motorcycle is still mysterious, but is highly unlikely to be Thruxton 400. With limited information gained from the recent teaser, possibilities might be endless.
Is it an affordable Speed 400?
With Royal Enfield dominating the premium 300cc to 500cc single-cylinder motorcycle segment, Triumph might be coming up with an affordable variant. The company is offering discounts of up to Rs 10K more frequently. With the launch of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, Bajaj Triumph might launch a more affordable version of Speed 400.
In the teaser, we can see bar-end mirrors, which are not likely to be standard equipment. Similar to Speed 400 launched last year. There might be a few features removed when compared to Speed 400. Conversely speaking, this could be a sportier accessorised variant of Speed 400 as well.
    New Triumph 400cc Bike Teased
Either way, this new Triumph 400cc bike will be based on the same platform as Speed 400, with almost identical features and equipment. It will retain the same 398cc single-cylinder DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine with 39.5 bhp of peak power and 37.5 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Hero Mavrick Up To Rs 20k Off Via Flipkart – Discounts Also On Xtreme, Xpulse, Vida, Karizma

Hero MavrickMajor e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon have been selling scooters and motorcycles with attractive bank offers and discounts
Recently, Hero MotoCorp has been offering its portfolio on major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart. Being one of the most widely popular platforms, Flipkart’s portal is expected to boost sales and make vehicular purchases more seamless. One major benefit of vehicle purchases on Flipkart is that there are discounts on Hero bikes and scooters of up to Rs 21K. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Ankit Sharma for sharing this update.
Hero Bikes And Scooters Flipkart Discount
Being a leading 2W manufacturer in India, Hero MotoCorp needs no introduction. It is a sales behemoth in India and has been at the top of its game for a very long time. The company’s advancements in e-commerce portals are commendable and has been maintaining a presence on Flipkart.
Hero MotoCorp discount offers on Flipkart
In most cases, automobiles are not considered an investment. Rather, they’re termed as depreciating assets. But what if you can save up to Rs 21K on your new Hero scooter and motorcycle? Tempting, isn’t it? The best part about this offer is that it is legit and has been out there for some time.
Depending on the motorcycle or scooter, one can save up to Rs 21K on their purchase of Hero vehicle on Flipkart. This is enabled by profound discounts from Flipkart, coupled with bank offers on select credit and debit cards. More often than not, Flipkart Axis Bank cards usually get more discounts than others.
Hero MotoCorp discount offers on Flipkart
On Flipkart, Hero MotoCorp and a few other brands like Bajaj and Ola, have listed their vehicles. Hero has a major part of its portfolio on sale through Flipkart, unlike other brands. Among the Hero products, the price difference between online and offline ranged between Rs 3,014 and Rs 21,015.
Hero Bikes and Scooters Discounts On Flipkart
Which one has the highest discount?
While budget commuters and ICE scooters had an effective discount of under Rs 7,500, the benefits increased with Hero’s premium portfolio and Vida electric scooters. Hero Xtreme 125R has discounts of up to Rs 8,550. Xpulse 200T has the lowest discount among the premium lineup at Rs 7,012.
Other notable motorcycles with discounts were Hero Xtreme 160R 4V with Rs 10,016 discount, Xpulse 200 4V with Rs 13,661 off, Karizma XMR 210 with Rs 15,170 discount and we have the Mavrick 440 with Rs 19,450 off. Interestingly, Hero Vida V1 Pro has the highest discount of Rs 21,045, which is very tempting.
The preconceived notion of buying a vehicle traditionally in a showroom after PDI is still strong among buyers. That could be a reason why many buyers don’t prefer online platforms for vehicular purchases. This trend could catch in the future and Bajaj recently took a greater stride by launching an Amazon exclusive variant of Chetak scooter.

Note – Prices mentioned in the post are indicated prices on Flipkart’s landing page for motorcycles and scooters. Actual prices vary depending on variants and colours and offers and discounts of the time. More

Bajaj Dominar 125 Likely To Be The Name Of Upcoming Bike – New Spy Shots

Bajaj Dominar 125When launched, upcoming Bajaj Dominar 125 spied could boast best-in-class performance, acing Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125
Bajaj Auto has a very successful sub-brand on sale in the form of Pulsar. Not only in India, Pulsar range has also seen great reception in global markets. Boosting the appeal of its flagship Dominar sub-brand ahead of the festive season, Bajaj is testing a new motorcycle speculated to get a 125cc engine.
    Upcoming Bajaj Dominar 125 Spied
As per our sources, this motorcycle might be called Bajaj Dominar 125, expanding the Dominar sub-brand and expanding 125cc motorcycle portfolio. Recent spy shots of this upcoming motorcycle give us a closer look. Latest spy shots of the Bajaj Dominar 125 are credited to automotive enthusiast Aman Kharat.
    Bajaj Dominar 125
Pulsar has been a best-seller in premium commuter motorcycle and high-performance single-cylinder motorcycle segments. Pulsar is also Bajaj’s best-selling sub-brands as well. Within the Pulsar sub-brand, it is the 125cc offerings that top company’s sales charts every single month. Dominar lineup, however, is nowhere as popular.
So, it is only logical for Bajaj to expand its 125cc portfolio with Dominar name. That is exactly what Bajaj seems to be doing. As suggested by our sources, the upcoming Bajaj 125cc motorcycle, speculated to be a Pulsar N125, might be called Dominar 125 up on launch. It will take on the likes of Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125.
    Bajaj Dominar 125
Currently, Bajaj offers Pulsar 125 (Classic) and Pulsar NS125. The new Dominar 125 will be positioned above NS125 with more features to rival the TVS Raider 125. It needs to have the design and road presence of Hero Xtreme 125R, which is gaining popularity. Looking at the spy shots, Bajaj seems to have got the design right.
    Bajaj Dominar 125
We can see a muscular-looking sporty motorcycle with a lot of attitude. There is a split seat setup, a conventional single-piece grab rail and a tyre hugger. Fuel tank looks neatly contoured with muscular tank shrouds. Previous spy shots show a new LED headlight setup with halogen turn indicators all around.
Front suspension looks beefy and Bajaj might be offering fork covers, similar to what we saw with Freedom 125. Alloy wheels look identical to what we saw with the Pulsar P150 (RIP). Other notable elements include rear mono-shock suspension setup, an underbelly exhaust and a fully digital instrument cluster.
    What features can we expect?
We hope this instrument cluster offers turn-by-turn navigation to better position itself against TVS Raider 125. ORVMs look large and there is a disc brake at the front. Sadly, the rear gets drum brakes only. There is a possibility of Bajaj offering single-channel ABS as well.
Powertrain-wise, Bajaj will offer competitive performance as per the segment. Upcoming Bajaj Dominar 125 might boast best-in-class performance metrics, positioning itself at the top of its segment. Considering the test mule sighting frequency, one can speculate that the company might launch it by 2024 end.

2025 TVS Apache RR 310 Spied Testing – Updated Styling, New Features Expected

2025 TVS Apache RR 310 SpiedWhen compared to immediate rivals like KTM RC 390, Ninja Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3, 2025 TVS Apache RR 310 will be the most feature-rich
When the first set of TVS Jupiter teasers went live, I wished the company rather updated the Apache RR 310 with all the electronics and powertrain improvements seen on Apache RTR 310. That’s exactly what TVS Motor seems to be doing as there is an Apache RR 310 test mule roaming in Hosur, near TVS manufacturing plant. This could be it.
2025 TVS Apache RR 310 Spied
Apache RR 310 was among the first motorcycles to come out of the strategic alliance between TVS Motor and BMW Motorrad. It featured an all-new platform and powertrain which was performance-oriented with an edge of sportiness.
TVS launched the Apache RTR 310 last year and it featured an improved powertrain with more performance on tap. The main highlight of RTR 310, other than its street fighter styling, was the immense electronics suite never before seen on a motorcycle of its class. There are a few outlandish features like ventilated seats too.
However, these electronics, features and powertrain updates never made it to Apache RR 310. TVS seems to be fixing this with a major update to RR 310, as suggested by the recent spy shots by motorradtheorymedia.
2025 TVS Apache RR 310 Spied
For starters, there are no major design changes seen on this particular test mule, suggesting that TVS could stick to the current silhouette. However, there are a few new elements seen on this particular test mule that will generate waves of debate and will be the talk of the motorcycling town. Of course, we’re talking about winglets attached on the sides.
These winglets are usually seen on litre-class motorcycles and high-performance superbikes. The main aim of these winglets is to improve aerodynamics by reducing wingtip vortices and stabilising the motorcycle when braking and cornering. This is a new concept for a motorcycle powered by a 310cc single-cylinder engine in mainstream Indian motorcycle market.
    What to expect?
Speaking of engine, 2025 TVS Apache RR 310 is highly likely to boast the same performance metrics as RTR 310 – 35.08 bhp of peak power and 28.7 Nm of peak power. Said test mule donned no camouflage, suggesting an imminent launch or it is just hiding in plain sight.
    TVS Apache RTR 310
It has red plates registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, suggesting that it is being tested by a third-party company. Probably for electronics. This is where the 2025 Apache RTR 310 gets more interesting. It is highly likely to get features like a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle, TPMS, Bi-directional quick-shifter, and heated and cooled seat.
TVS Motor will offer a 6-axis IMU on this motorcycle unlocking electronic rider aids like Dynamic stability control, Cornering ABS, Cruise control, Wheelie control, Cornering traction control, Rear lift-off control, Cornering cruise control, Slope dependant control and more. 2025 TVS Apache RR 310 looks like it is ready to be your next best friend for track days. Launch might happen soon.
