Benling Believe Electric Scooter Launch Price Rs 97k – Range 120 Km

Benling India has almost 350 widespread dealerships in the country located across 22 States and 160 citiesBenling Believe Electric ScooterIndustry experts say that the Indian EV market is likely to expand at a CAGR of 77% by value. This is what might have tempted Honda to enter this segment with an Electric Activa in 2023 which was expected to happen after 2025. This fact has also attracted a lot of electric scooter companies to shoot their shots. One such company is Benling and on India’s 75th Independence day, has launched its new electric scooter Believe. No, no. The name of the electric scooter itself is Believe and is launched at Rs. 97,520 (ex-sh). As a company, Benling is a pure electric 2W brand with a strong presence in 84 different countries. To launch Believe, Benling has partnered up with IPower Batteries to source swappable LFP cells (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate). Benling wants to leverage its 350 dealerships located across 22 States and 160 cities to sell its new electric scooter, Believe. It will be available in showrooms for display and test rides from August 25th.Benling Believe Electric ScooterFor starters, it is a high-speed electric scooter and not a low-speed electric scooter whose top speed is capped at 25 km/h. Talking about top speed, Believe can touch 75 km/h, which is impressive when compared to slow-speed electric scooters. It has a 3.2 kW waterproof BLDC hub motor mounted at the rear wheel.Benling Believe Electric ScooterPowering this hub motor is either a 3.2 kWh swappable Li-ion or 3.2 kWh LFP battery which can be charged in 4 hours (claimed). Benling Believe Electric Scooter range is 120 km on a single charge (claimed) in Eco Mode and 70 km in Sport Mode. The company says that Believe weighs a total of 248 kgs which seems to be its GVW instead of kerb weight. In terms of features, it gets a keyless start, multiple speed modes, an anti-theft alarm feature, regenerative braking, mobile-app connectivity, Park-assist function, Mobile-charging and real-time tracking.Believe also gets a fully digital instrument cluster with blue back-lighting which surprisingly gets a “gear position indicator showing 4 gears” in an electric scooter with a hub motor. Yeah. We predict that it might be showing the four riding modes as four gears. Or it might have adjustable regenerative braking with four levels that the company didn’t mention. Benling also claims that Believe has fireproof batteries and promises a safe product without getting an AIS 156 certification like TVS iQube does.Maintenance ModeAlso, Benling has introduced a “Smart Breakdown Assist”, which is a button in the switchgear that according to CEO & MD Amit Kumar, allows Believe to travel 20 km at 25 km/h speed even if the battery or electronics are damaged, or the motor is “gone”. More explanations weren’t made regarding this though. I can’t understand how an EV can travel at any speed if its motor is “gone”.Benling Believe Instrument ConsoleBelieve gets 90/90-12 tubeless tyres wrapped around 12” alloy wheels at both ends. It gets telescopic suspension at both ends too and LED lighting all around. Benling also offers a slew of accessories to match the Believe electric scooter like a helmet, a backpack, and a wristwatch. New Believe electric scooter is offered in 6 colours options -Yellow, Blue, Black, White, Purple, Magic Grey.Based out of Manesar, Benling also has plans to introduce two new products later this year including an electric loader. Benling is offering a reassuring 3 years of battery warranty or 50,000 km mileage, whichever is early. At Rs. 97,520 (ex-sh), do you believe the Believe? Or will you just buy the Ola S1 launched yesterday? More

    2023 TVS Apache 310 Street Based On BMW G 310 R – Render

TVS & BMW co-developed this 310cc platform which benefits both companies spawning 3 BMW branded bikes and one TVS branded bike2023 TVS Apache 310 StreetAfter launching Ronin, TVS has received mixed reactions about their new bike. For starters, it doesn’t belong to a specific genre. Rather, TVS has designed it in such a way that, Ronin is a culmination of a street bike, a scrambler and a cruiser. In India, motorcycles setting their foot down in multiple boats have often tumbled. When compared with Avenger 220, Ronin comes off as not so touring friendly too. Because Avenger series is a quintessential cruiser and provides a couch-like seating experience. I kid you not. We all thought TVS missed a stark opportunity of launching a 310cc platform-based Fiero ADV we rendered recently.TVS Apache 310 StreetWhen developing this 310cc platform, both companies should have benefited equally. We don’t know the exact terms, conditions and clauses both companies settled to. But it is not a stretch to say that the BMW-TVS relationship looks to be one-sided. BMW launched G 310 R Street bike, G 310 GS ADV and recently, it also launched G 310 RR sports bike too, which was a rebranded Apache RR 310.BMW has created a whole family out of this platform, while TVS is still being a lone wolf with Apache RR 310 sports bike. But what if TVS does use this platform to create an Apache 310 Street based on BMW G 310 R? Our rendering artist Pratyush Raut has created a render to visualize this idea.2023 TVS Apache 310 StreetTVS could also make a family of products based on this 310cc platform. We have taken colour combinations from TVS’ books that are offered on Apache RR 310 and used it on our Apache 310 Street concept render. Cherry on top is a white shade that is closer to our hearts than the other two shades. What? White is cool. Ask BMW, they charge Rs. 20,000 extra for a white Apache RR 310.Specs & PricingIt gets a reverse-inclined 312.2 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 33.52 bhp of power at 9,700 RPM and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700 RPM. This engine is mated to a slick-shifting 6-speed gearbox. It also gets modern technology like ride-by-wire throttle which also enables creep mode. This engine is mounted on a trellis frame finished in red colour on the render like TVS would have done. To create some distinction from G 310 R, this render gets a redesigned body panel between the fuel tank and tank shrouds. This way, we could show more of the red trellis frame along with stylish Apache graphics. Personally, it looks better than the G 310 R. The golden USD forks are retained though. If launched, we can expect TVS to price Apache 310 Street Rs. 20,000 less than BMW G 310 RR which is priced at Rs. 2.70 lakh (ex-sh).2023 TVS Apache 310 StreetTVS has not officially revealed that they are actively working on an Apache Street bike based on the 310cc platform. But since BMW products are manufactured by TVS, they may be in a position to make an ADV and a street bike under Apache brand. Right now, G 310 R competes against KTM 390 Duke, recently launched Honda CB300F, Honda CB300R and the likes.Disclaimer – Please note that the renderings in this post are created by an independent artist and are not commissioned or approved by TVS Motor. New Honda Activa Premium Edition Scooter Teased – Launch Soon

Honda Activa 6G was launched in 2020 and was the torch bearer for BS6 engines on Activa seriesNew Honda Activa Premium Edition ScooterHonda India has a massive pull on scooter segment in India. Activa brand is so popular that it is synonymous with scooters and is a default choice for most scooter buyers in India. There was a time when this spot was enjoyed by Bajaj. Scooter meant Bajaj. But today, when looking at sales charts, Activa absolutely annihilates the competition. So, how can Honda better a product that is already a force to reckon with? We could get a new generation of this legend. But it looks like Honda is just offering a limited edition Activa 6G.New Honda Activa Premium EditionHonda’s teasers for new Activa are still limited to exteriors though. None of them reveal the engine specs and actual changes this new scooter will bring to the table. Looking at the exterior of this new Activa that is teased by Honda, we are hard pressed to pinpoint what exactly the changes are. Because it looks identical to the Activa 6G.This raises the question if this is Activa 7G or Futuristic Activa Electric that was recently announced by Honda or just a limited edition of the already on sale Activa 6G. Going by Honda’s past records, there is a high possibility that it might be a limited edition version of the Activa 6G like Dio Sports limited edition that was recently launched.New Honda Activa Premium EditionActiva 3G was launched in Feb 2015, Activa 4G was launched in Feb 2017, Activa 5G was launched in March 2018 and Activa 6G was launched in Jan 2020. Seeing a pattern here? Honda has always launched new generations of Activa in Q1 of a fiscal year. So, chances of a new generation of Activa in Q3 of this fiscal year sound meek, doesn’t it?Also, the second teaser looked like it had a matte-finished green paint scheme and gold-coloured vents on its apron. This colour scheme was never on offer before. Right now, Activa 6G is offered in eight colours and doesn’t get a matte green shade. It gets Matte Mature Brown, Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Magnificent Copper Metallic, Pearl precious White, Decent Blue, Red Rebel Metallic, and lastly, Black.Specs & PriceNew Honda Activa Premium Edition may get matt blue colour shade that was teased in the first teaser and a matte green shade too. Honda Activa 6G was the torch bearer for BS6 scooters and it is the best Activa to date, if you ask us. It gets a decently peppy 110cc motor making 7.68 bhp of power and 8.79 Nm of torque.More teasers from Honda in the coming days are very likely. In terms of pricing, limited editions might cost around Rs. 2,000 more than regular shades. It is also likely to get Standard and Deluxe variants too. Deluxe trim gets LED headlights and DRLs. It is likely to get alloy wheels on the limited edition Activa 6G Deluxe variant as we saw with Dio sports. This limited edition Activa 6G will be launched around the festive season. More

2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Render – In 7 New Colours

Royal Enfield has plans to launch multiple new motorcycles based on their 350cc platform – Bobber 350 is one of them2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber RenderRoyal Enfield already has a single-seater option on the Classic 350. You must be thinking that’s it, right? That’s the Classic 350 Bobber. No. As the name suggests, it is just a single-seater variant of the Classic 350. A bobber is not a cruiser motorcycle with the back seat removed. It is much more than that.Royal Enfield has plans to launch a proper bobber based on their new Classic 350. It is expected to arrive in the showroom sometime next year. Ahead of that, here is a render version of the same. Please note that this Classic 350 Bobber Render is a work of imagination and has not been commissioned or approved by Royal Enfield.Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber RenderThis reimagined Classic 350 Bobber is digitally created by our rendering artist Pratyush Rout. A lot of thought process goes into creating a bobber motorcycle. In the render, you can see that the wheelbase has been extended quite a bit more than the standard Classic 350.The ground clearance is lowered to give the rider that low-slung riding position. The handlebar is raised too. And then the leather-wrapped, coil spring suspended single-seat adorns the total look of the motorcycle.2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber RenderThe Vintage Red colour gives the motorcycle that mandatory old-world charm. How can we talk about a Royal Enfield motorcycle without mentioning its curvaceous body panels? It’s like peanut butter without peanuts. The sculpted metallic fuel tank in the render is a little different from the Classic 350 cruiser. This redesigned fuel tank gives the motorcycle that bobber feel. The render also gets bar-end rear view mirrors finished in black. The engine compartment gets a blacked-out finish to give a sporty appeal. The Classic 350 Bobber render also gets some side body panels. No more, no less. Just the right amount. The render also gets a chrome-finished exhaust tip to add to the panache of the Bobber motorcycle.Finishing off the old world charm are the round headlights and round tail lights with chrome surround, round indicators and round instrument cluster. 2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber also gets the tripper display to handle navigation and phone connectivity.2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber RenderEngine and SpecsThe render also gets a telescopic front suspension like the Classic 350 cruiser. The rear twin shocks have been replaced with a center-mounted rear mono-shock unit. The Classic 350 Bobber render gets the same J-Series engine displacing 349 cc and developing 20.2 bhp of power @6100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque @4000 RPM.The Classic 350 cruiser motorcycle weighs 195 kg and the Bobber could weigh around the same. The cruiser motorcycle in production also gets spoked wheels at the front and back which our Bobber render also retains. The Bobber also carries over the front and rear disc brakes equipped with dual-channel ABS.[embedded content][embedded content]Bobber motorcycles usually come with smaller tyres both at the front and back and our render reflects the same. Considering the revisions and the changes to the motorcycle, it is very logical to assume that the Classic 350 Bobber render can be around Rs 30,000 dearer than the Classic 350. There are multiple reports about the possibility of a Classic 350 Bobber launch in 2023. If the Bobber motorcycle looks anything like our rendering artist imagined, we’re in for a treat. More
