      2025 Tata Harrier EV has been spotted multiple times on road tests since the concept was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo. This recent test vehicle was clicked in Jabalpur, MP, while stationed in a parking lot. Tata Harrier EV is expected to be launched by the end of this current financial year.

      In terms of its design and styling, Harrier EV closely mirrors its ICE sibling. Design features seen with the concept have been implemented in the production model in most parts. Some of the key highlights include Bi-LED projector headlamps, sequential LED DRLs and centre position lamp and front LED fog lamps. Changes for Harrier EV will include a closed-off grille and refreshed lower fascia.

      Side profile is largely the same as the ICE model. But this test vehicle has a different design for the alloy wheels in comparison to that of test vehicles spotted earlier. The wheels have R17 235/66 Apollo tyres. 2025 Tata Harrier EV has conventional door handles, thick body cladding, blacked-out pillars and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.
      The charging port is installed on the left, just above the rear wheel. Rear profile seems familiar to that of ICE Harrier. The connected LED tail lamp with welcome and goodbye animation will be the same. Most features on the inside are the same as the ICE Harrier. It includes the dashboard, steering wheel, AC vents, door trims and centre console. One of the key highlights is the 12.3-inch centrally mounted touchscreen infotainment system.

      Various other features will be common such as voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting and personalized lighting on the dashboard. 2025 Tata Harrier EV has the multifunction steering wheel with illuminated logo in the centre. Probably for cabin air circulation when it is getting tested for range without AC.

      Tata Motors will position the Harrier EV as a more premium product in comparison to the ICE Harrier. Accordingly, it will be getting some additional features. Safety will be enhanced with some new additions to the ADAS kit.
      Existing ICE Harrier offers ADAS features such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. There’s traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane departure warning and blind spot detection. Users also benefit from lane change alert, rear collision warning and rear cross traffic alert.

      Performance boost with AWD
      2025 Tata Harrier EV will have AWD option, something that’s missing on the ICE Harrier. This will be another good reason why users may want to choose the EV version over the ICE model. Harrier EV will be based on Tata’s acti-ev pure EV architecture that also supports FWD and RWD. It is expected to get a 60-80 kWh battery pack. Certified range could be around 500 km and will support fast charging. Launch price could be around Rs 30 lakhs and will rival upcoming XUV700 EV.

The 4-seater passenger model Light trim and Air trim are available at 27.75 million won (Rs 17.58 lakh) and 29.55 million won (Rs 18.72 lakh), respectively. The 2-seater van Light trim and Air trim are priced at 27.45 million won (Rs 17.39 lakh) and 27.95 million won (Rs 17.71 lakh), respectively.
      The 1-seater model Light trim and Air trim cost 27.35 million won (Rs 17.33 lakh) and 27.8 million won (Rs 17.62 lakh), respectively. Equipped with a 35.2 kWh battery, the electric mini car offers a driving range of up to 205 km (127 miles) in Korea. Within city limits, it can reach up to 233 km (145 miles).

      With electric mobility witnessing greater acceptance, more genres of automobiles have been shifting to the greener side. Electric commercial vehicles have been getting more frequent too. Ahead of the festive season, Mahindra has launched ZEO electric 4W truck in India at a starting price of Rs 7.52 lakh (Ex-sh).
      This is the first time Mahindra is venturing into 4W electric pickup trucks and Tata Ace EV is in the crosshair. Within the last mile mobility division, Mahindra already has a successful portfolio running on Petrol, CNG, Diesel and Electric fuels. ZEO, however, is the company’s first attempt at an electric 4W truck.

      According to Mahindra, ZEO stands for ‘Zero Emission Option’. At a starting price of Rs 7.52 lakh (Ex-sh), Mahindra e-ZEO is an important addition to the company’s Last Mile Mobility division which already consists of Treo, Alfa, Zor and Jeeto.
      There are two versions of Zeo – Zeo V1 and Zeo V2. Both are available with a pre-built body with the suffix DV200 in their names. While Mahindra ZEO’s base price of Rs 7.52 lakh (Ex-sh) is already attractive, the company is sweetening the deal further by offering BaaS (Battery as a Service) program as well.

      Mahindra is offering attractive finance options for buyers and BaaS rental is Rs 2.25 per km. On top of it, a 3-year or 1.25 lakh km vehicle warranty and a 7-year or 1.5 lakh km battery warranty are notable as well. There are two battery options – 18.4 kWh and 21.3 kWh, promising a real-world range of 160 km and a claimed ARAI range of 246 km.

      Charging options are noteworthy too. DC fast charging via the CCS2 charging port takes 60 minutes to add 100 km worth of charge. AC fast charging takes 3 hours and home charging takes 7 hours. There is a single electric motor capable of churning out 40 bhp and 114 Nm and is rated for 60 km/h top speed. Mahindra ZEO’s load capacity is 765 kg.

      Mahindra is known to stuff features in their PVs, but their newest CV takes a similar route as well. ZEO 4W commercial truck gets features like drive modes (Eco and Power), a creep function, ADAS (forward collision, headway monitoring, pedestrian collision, lane departure) and driver monitoring (driver fatigue warning, driver coaching and driver behaviour insights).

      Now that we’ve got technicals out of the way, let’s take a look at Mahindra ZEO’s design. Overall silhouette is that of a typical small forward-control pickup truck. Adhering to Mahindra’s family genes, we can see vertical slats in its fascia, highlighted in a blue shade, to show off its eco credentials and zero-emission mobility approach.

      We can see multiple other places where Mahindra has used blue highlights. There are interesting decals on the side that stand out. They even read ELECTRIC in bold.       Kia is expanding its electric vehicle lineup, which currently only includes the EV6, with the new EV9. Showcased earlier this year, the new EV9 is now poised to redefine premium electric mobility in India with flagship-level attributes. The company is bringing EV9 via the CBU route priced at Rs 1.299 Cr (Ex-sh).
      Kia EV9 will be among the few electric three-row SUVs in Indian market. It is offered in one fully loaded top-spec model. Size-wise and segment-wise, Kia EV9 will have no direct rivals in India and is likely to garner the same reception in India seen globally.

      The new Kia EV9, based on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture, will command a strong road presence. It measures 5,010 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and stands 1,755 mm tall, and receives a 3,100 mm long wheelbase. This will not only relate to spacious interiors but will also allow for a spacious boot. Ground clearance is 198 mm.
      Its exteriors sports a large closed-off front grille, elongated bonnet, cubed LED headlamps, Z-shaped DRLs and vertically stacked LED tail lamps. It also gets door-mounted ORVMs, flush door handles, rear wiper and spoiler and massive wheel arches. Thick body cladding and functional roof rails will also ensure that the EV9 commands a strong road presence.

      Where its interior makeup is concerned, the upcoming EV9 from Kia is both roomy and well-appointed with a host of premium features. The 3 row electric SUV, available exclusively in a seven-seater configuration, comes in with a variety of seating options. These include captain seats with headrests in the middle row with 60:40 split while third row seats receive 50:50 split with remote folding to free up extra cargo space.
      Features also include 12.3-inch dual panel screens for infotainment and instrumentation, a 14-speaker Meridian music system, a wireless charging pad, control switches, 3-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof and a heated steering wheel. The new EV9 will also sport a digital key, fingerprint recognition and USB-C ports. Expected safety features could include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, ten airbags as standard, hill assist control and multiple drive modes.

      Battery Pack and Powertrain Specifications
      Where battery pack and powertrain specifications of the Kia EV9 are concerned, the GT-Line AWD variant will receive a 100 kWh battery pack with dual motors offering 379 hp power and 700 Nm torque. It is expected to offer a range of 561 km on a single charge, acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds to claim a top speed of 200 km/h. The EV9 will be charged from 0-80% via a 350 kW DC charger in under 30 minutes. The EV9 will also sport Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) capabilities used to charge various tools and equipment.

      With the compact SUV segment gaining prominence globally, Skoda has just unveiled its first-ever fully-electric compact SUV. Called Skoda Elroq, it is also the first vehicle from the brand to debut its Modern Solid design language. In India, Skoda is set to launch Kylaq based on the same design language.

      On Elroq, we can see a handsome design, which is well executed. The fascia has been divided into two parts. The top part gets sleek LED DRLs along with a slim upper grill. Above this grill, we can see Skoda lettering sitting proudly on the muscular bumper with strong creases.

MG has timed the deliveries to coincide with the auspicious festive season.

      With the addition of Windsor EV, MG Motor now has a total of three EVs on offer in India. Windsor EV is essentially a rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV. The latter is sold across select Asian markets such as Thailand and Indonesia. For the Indian market, MG Windsor EV has been positioned as India’s first intelligent CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle). MG Windsor EV combines the elegance of a sedan with the roominess of an SUV.
      Production of Windsor EV has already commenced at MG Motor’s manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat. MG Motor had acquired this plant from General Motors India in 2017. After the acquisition, MG Motor invested over Rs 2,000 crore to carry out a major upgrade of the 178-acre facility. As of now, MG Motor’s state-of-the-art Halol plant has a production capacity of more than 1,00,00 vehicles per annum.

      As compared to the ICE Creta, the Creta electric has a new steering wheel. It has a 3-spoke design and is a completely circular unit. In comparison, the ICE Creta has a flat bottom steering wheel.

      Most other features in the front row are largely the same as the new Creta. Some of the key highlights include a curvy dashboard, horizontally placed AC vents and dual 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and instrument console.

      The central console of the test mule is still a work in progress setup, but it’s evident that most of the panel buttons are borrowed from the ICE Creta. Presence of physical buttons on the central console makes practical sense, although the polished interior aesthetics are slightly compromised in the process.

      Creta EV will borrow most of the equipment from the ICE Creta. The latter has dual-tone interiors, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and 8-way power adjustable driver seat. Depending on the variant, upholstery options include fabric and leatherette. Creta EV will get a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic temperature control, front ventilated seats and electric parking brake with auto hold.
      Gear selector is likely to be on the stalk behind steering wheel, like in Ioniq 5. There will be a rotary dial for selecting traction control modes. Users can access smartphone wireless charger, cruise control, keyless entry, rear AC vent and USB charging ports. A comprehensive range of safety features will be available with Creta EV.

      The list includes 6-airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist control, rear disc brakes and tyre pressure monitoring system. Hyundai Creta EV will have automatic headlamps, headlamp escort function, day and night IRVM, rear parking sensors and camera and front parking sensors. A comprehensive range of ADAS features will be offered with Creta EV.
      Creta EV – Range, performance
      While there is no official confirmation, it is estimated that Creta EV will have a range of around 450 km. With an advanced regen braking system, users can expect a good real-world range of around 350 km. Creta EV is expected to be equipped with a 45-kWh battery pack.
