Yezdi Customs Lineup Revealed – ADV Rally Pro, Streetfighter 334

Yezdi Customs Lineup Revealed : Image – Classic JawaTo better rival Royal Enfield, Honda and Jawa neo-retro motorcycles, Yezdi Customs lineup revealed features stylistic and unique approachRecently, at a dealership meeting, Classic Legends motorcycle company showcased 4 Yezdi motorcycles on stage. One of those motorcycles went viral as the iconic “Roadking” (name not confirmed). Now, the information on the other three motorcycles has been revealed. All four of these are likely to launch in India.Yezdi Customs Lineup RevealedThe recent dealer meeting event from Classis Legends witnessed the showcase of four Yezdi branded motorcycles. These four motorcycles fall under “Yezdi Customs” lineup and these will be sold alongside standard motorcycles already launched by the company.Yezdi Roadking (name not confirmed)After witnessing a new red Yezdi motorcycle with updated hardware and componentry, we couldn’t help but wonder what the three motorcycles displayed on stage, packed with them. The secrets are out now. One of those three motorcycles is a more retro version of the one we covered recently. Interestingly, it looked like it had a bigger engine, as seen in the picture above. It dons a similar overall design, except for a unique and larger single exhaust unit. Fuel tank is similar to recently spotted motorcycle, but has different colours. Engine area is finished in silver, bashplate in black and front RSU telescopic forks lack gaiters. Other components like rear mono-shock, twin instrument cluster, alloy wheels, and seat were identical to recently revealed bike.Adventure Rally ProBased on Yezdi Adventure, Adventure Rally Pro is geared less towards touring and concentrates more towards off-roading. We can see a lot weight shed from standard Adventure by getting rid of touring-oriented chunky rear grab rail. There seems to be a new subframe along with a much flatter split seat setup and a tail tidy.Side body panel now says Rally Pro and there is a Yezdi Customs sticker on fuel tank. Both features some kind of topographical pattern of a location. We would say Himalayan mountain range, but it could be anything. We can see a brand new handlebar along with new and sleeker ORVMs and knuckle guards as well.Instrument cluster remains the same fully digital unit with navigation support. We’re not sure if these knobby would be road-legal.Yezdi Streetfighter 334Streetfighter 334This is the most appealing one of the bunch owing to its enticing twin-pod single-sided exhaust setup. Streetfighter 334 is the only one of this bunch to feature a rounded fuel tank from Scrambler and Roadster, while others feature the more angular tank from Adventure.Based on the Scrambler, it features a slightly less angular seat with ribbed pattern along with that lovely exhaust setup. There’s no grabrail like on Scrambler, but the same tail tidy continues. Features like rear twin shock setup, headlights, single round fully digital instrument cluster, RSU telescopic front forks with gaiters, wire-spoke wheels and tyres remain similar to Scrambler.Yezdi Streetfighter 334 ExhaustWhere powertrains are concerned, all the motorcycles falling under the new Yezdi Customs lineup revealed, will get the same engine. This 334cc DOHC 4V liquid cooled engine generates around 29 bhp and 29 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Launch could happen soon, targeting Royal Enfield’s and Honda’s popular neo-retro motorcycles. Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Launch Soon – New Spy Shots Reveal Details

Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Spied – Highest Mileage? While Bajaj’s CNG Motorcycle will be the first of its kind in India, it will challenge popular ICE commuter bikes such as Splendor Plus and Honda Shine 100CNG has been used in cars in India since 2010, but it has limited applications in the two-wheeler segment. It’s true that RTO-approved CNG conversion kits were available for select scooters. But a factory-produced CNG two-wheeler has never materialized. The status quo is set to change, as Bajaj is planning to launch India’s first ever CNG Motorcycle later this year.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle – What to expect?High fuel efficiency – In the entry-level commuter segment, Bajaj currently offers the Platina and CT motorcycles. Among these, the most fuel efficient is the Platina 100 Motorcycle. Its ARAI certified range is 70 kmpl. The upcoming CNG bike is expected to have a higher mileage. It can emerge as the most fuel efficient in its class. Mileage is an important factor for users looking for a commuter bike. A best-in-class mileage will be a major USP for Bajaj’s upcoming CNG motorcycle.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Spied – Highest Mileage?Borrow an existing engine – Bajaj’s upcoming CNG motorcycle could use the existing 110cc engine, as seen with Platina 110cc and CT110X. When running on petrol, this engine churns out 8.6 PS of max power and 9.81 Nm of max torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle could also get the 125cc engine in use with CT125X. As CNG is less power dense in comparison to petrol, a larger displacement will be needed to achieve the performance of a 100cc or 110cc petrol bike. Of course, the engine will be tweaked to support the greener fuel.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Spied – Highest Mileage?Bi-fuel setup – Bajaj’s upcoming CNG bike is expected to have a bi-fuel setup. A dedicated switch could be there, allowing users to shift from CNG to petrol and vice-versa. The CNG tank will be located below the seat, whereas the petrol tank will be in its usual position.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Spied – Highest Mileage?Bajaj CNG Motorcycle – Specs, featuresUpcoming Bajaj CNG bike is expected to get 17-inch wheels at both ends, shod with 80/100 tubeless tyres. A front disc and rear drum combo are on offer. Suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at front and a monoshock unit at rear. Both ABS and non-ABS variants could be offered. The CNG Motorcycle is expected to get a semi-digital instrument console with info such as gear indicator, gear guidance and ABS indicator. LED headlight can be seen in spy shots.Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Spied – Highest Mileage?Bajaj CNG bike – PricingWhile Bajaj CNG Motorcycle will have lower operational costs, it will be priced higher than the Platina 110cc bike. Bajaj could launch the CNG bike at a starting price of Rs 80,000. People looking at long-term benefits won’t mind the slightly higher pricing.Launch is likely to take place by June 2024. Along with the domestic market, Bajaj’s new CNG Motorcycle will also be sold across multiple global markets. Depending on its success, other two-wheeler manufacturers can also consider launching their respective CNG models. More

New Yezdi Motorcycle Showcased To Dealers – Hunter 350 Rival?

New Yezdi Motorcycle ShowcasedIf priced well under Rs. 2 lakh and weigh around 180 kg, new Yezdi motorcycle showcased to dealers could emerge as a better rival to Honda and Royal Enfield offeringsIn a rather surprising turn of events, Mahindra & Mahindra owned Classic Legends has revealed a bunch of new Jawa, Yezdi and BSA motorcycles at what looks like a dealership event. At this event the stage showed a bunch of new Jawa, Yezdi and BSA motorcycles. However, only one Yezdi motorcycle has been detailed. Let’s take a look at what’s what.New Jawa and BSA Motorcycles Showcased To DealersYezdi falls under the Classic Legends Motorcycles umbrella along with Jawa and BSA. In a recent event, the company seems to have showcased a bunch of new motorcycles to a few dealers. These have a good probability of launching in the Indian market with an intent to better rival Royal Enfield and Honda. On the stage, we saw a glimpse of a large flex cut-out including a variety of BSA motorcycles. The heading on this cut-out banner read ‘Motorcycle Dreams In Motion’ and there were multiple variations of a motorcycle that looked like variations of BSA Gold Star 650. There was a concept or rendering of a bobber-style motorcycle too, that could take on Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.There were 4 Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles on stage too. One of these motorcycles seemed like a Yezdi Roadster with a stylish dual-barrel single-sided exhaust with high-quality appeal. This exhaust sorta reminded me of MV Augusta Rush or a Ducati Supersport. This motorcycle donned twin rear shock absorbers like other Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles.New Yezdi Motorcycle ShowcasedThe centre of attraction that is generating all the buzz is a red-hot Yezdi motorcycle featured in the video posted by classic_jawa. This is unlike any other Yezdi that is currently on sale and is likely to be the lightest and the most performant offering from the iconic Yezdi house. But will it bring back Road King name? That is to be seen.We say this because this motorcycle features the same chassis and powertrain as Yezdi Scrambler. We can see a slightly angular fuel tank along with similar side body panels. Front suspension is similar RSU telescopic forks with gaiters and front and rear footpegs look identical too. Like Scrambler, there is a tail tidy and a plastic rear fender. We couldn’t spot tail lights, turn indicators and number plate holders on the new Yezdi motorcycle. Production version model is likely to get a similar setup as Yezdi Scrambler. So, what are the differences? Where Scrambler had a single-piece up-swept seat, the new bike had a flatter seat.New Yezdi BikeScrambler’s twin-shock rear suspension setup is replaced with a mono-shock unit and there is a single exhaust setup as opposed to Scrambler’s dual exhaust. Scrambler’s fully digital single-pod instrument cluster has been replaced with twin pod analog cluster. Surprisingly, there is a 4-way D-pad on left switchgear, hinting digital screens present in these circular dials.Other notable changes on the new bike include alloy wheels with tubeless Pirelli tyres. In a way, Yezdi seems to be carving out a lighter road-going version of its Scrambler with less features at a lower price point. If Yezdi can strike a price point of under Rs. 2 lakh, we can see it making a big splash against Royal Enfield and Honda with a more cutting edge 334cc DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine making 28.7 bhp and 28.2 Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Ather Electric Scooter Battery Drop Test From 40 Ft – Does It Survive?

Ather Rizta Battery DroppedAther is getting ready to launch a new electric scooter next month – Ahead of that, they us battery drop test of this new scooterElectric 2W mobility solutions in India have been on the rise. Many OEMs are springing up to cater to this increasing demand. Ather is one of those OEMs and is currently one of the best-selling electric 2W vehicle manufacturers in India. The company’s upcoming Rizta family scooter will feature over-engineered batteries as demonstrated in a video.Ather Rizta Battery Dropped From 40 FeetNot only is the upcoming Rizta Ather’s first family scooter, but it will be the most affordable Ather scooter as well. Up until Rizta, Ather was primarily focused on catering to enthusiasts and tech-savvy thrill seekers. Now, expanding their portfolio to cater family oriented scooters will expand their appeal and sales envelope.Ather Rizta Battery DroppedCurrently TVS iQube is India’s best-selling family electric scooter and is in Ather Rizta’s immediate crosshair. Also, Ola S1 X+ is another offering that Rizta will compete with. Folks at Ather Energy have an immaculate sense of humour and have been engaging in innovative and amusing strategies.Ather Energy co-founder Swapnil Jain took to social media posting a new video about their upcoming Rizta scooter. Their recent innovative strategy involves dropping their battery pack from a height of 40 feet. Surely, this is an overkill of a demonstration. However, the witty way Ather Energy demonstrates their engineering capability is always entertaining and confidence-inspiring for the intended audience.Crane At 40 FeetIn the video, we can see Shreyas Seethapathy operating a mobile crane held at 40 feet from the ground. From this height, Ather Rizta battery is dropped with a loud thud. As shown in the video by Ather, the battery remains “rock solid”.Shreyas loves destroying batteries and he comes up with his own crazy ways of testing them. Last time he was seen baking his battery eating ice-cream. This time he saw a crane and got excited and wanted to test strength of our batteries. So he decided to drop it from 40 feet.… pic.twitter.com/a2LB78WT2e— Swapnil Jain (@swapniljain89) March 12, 2024What does this test signify? This demonstration signifies that Ather’s batteries are designed to withstand any or most impacts a user can face on the road in real-world conditions. Impacts from stones, illogical speed bumps, direct impacts from other objects and many more. Ather’s battery casings are built with high-pressure die-cast aluminium tech. The main takeaway from this battery drop test is that if Ather’s battery can withstand an overkill 40 feet drop, it is capable of withstanding any or most real-world impacts. In case of drops, the impact force is distributed across the battery and is not the same as a concentrated impact from sharp objects or nail penetrations. In a previous video aired last year, Shreyas Seethapathy was seen eating a tub of ice cream while sitting on an autoclave baking one of their battery packs. Ather Rizta scooter will be unveiled at Ather’s Community Day on April 6th, 2024. Practicality is the mantra here and Rizta will feature a large and accommodating seat too. AtherStack 6 OTA update and a smart accessory are other anticipated launches from Ather on Community Day. More
