TVS Raider Deadpool and Wolverine Editions Launched

    TVS Raider Deadpool Edition
TVS Motor Company has expanded its Raider Super Squad Edition portfolio in India with the launch of two striking new variants inspired by Marvel icons — Deadpool and Wolverine. The move builds on TVS’ unique positioning of the Raider as a Gen Z-focused motorcycle that blends style, performance, and technology in the competitive 125cc segment.
Bold New Designs with Marvel Flair
The new Raider Super Squad Editions (SSE) carry dynamic decals and graphics inspired by the larger-than-life Marvel characters. These additions follow the earlier Iron Man and Black Panther-inspired Raider editions introduced in 2023, making Raider the first motorcycle in India to roll out Marvel-themed variants. TVS says these designs are tailored for young riders who want their motorcycles to reflect both individuality and attitude.
    TVS Raider Wolverine Edition
Under the skin, the TVS Raider SSE continues with the tried-and-tested 124.8cc, 3-valve engine producing best-in-class torque of 11.75 Nm @ 6,000 RPM, offering a balance of performance and efficiency. The bike is now equipped with iGO Assist with Boost Mode, which provides a burst of acceleration, and GTT (Glide Through Technology) that enhances low-speed rideability and fuel efficiency.
The Raider SSE comes with a fully connected reverse LCD cluster offering over 85 features, aimed at keeping tech-savvy riders engaged. Features include ride data analytics, navigation assistance, call/SMS alerts, and more — ensuring that functionality complements the sporty character.
    Strengthening the Marvel Partnership
By introducing Deadpool and Wolverine into the line-up, TVS continues to deepen its collaboration with Marvel. The company says these editions are crafted to appeal to Gen Z, who resonate strongly with pop culture icons and demand products that are as stylish as they are functional.
The new TVS Raider Super Squad Edition has been priced at Rs 99,465 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be available at TVS Motor Company dealerships across India starting this month. With these additions, the TVS Raider Super Squad Edition continues to position itself as a fun, stylish, and tech-rich motorcycle, catering to young buyers looking for more than just a commuter — a machine that reflects their personality and lifestyle. Yamaha Sales Breakup July 2025 – RayZR, FZ, MT15, R15, Fascino

New Yamaha MT15 – Patna BikesYamaha RayZR, FZ, MT15 and R15 Continued to Lead Sales with Strong MoM Gains Despite YoY Decline
India Yamaha Motor reported mixed sales performance in July 2025. The company saw a decline on a year-on-year (YoY) basis but managed to bounce back with strong month-on-month (MoM) growth. Total domestic sales stood at 50,365 units, marking a 9.80% drop compared to 55,838 units sold in July 2024 — a volume decline of 5,473 units. However, on a MoM basis, Yamaha recorded a healthy 13.39% increase, adding 5,948 units over 44,417 units sold in June 2025.
The improvement in MoM sales indicates that Yamaha’s refreshed product strategy and festive season preparations are resonating with customers. The company recently introduced the 2025 MT-15 Version 2.0 with updated technology and new colours. Alongside, Yamaha launched the 2025 Fascino and RayZR, both 125cc scooters with Hybrid technology, aiming to boost demand ahead of the festive rush.
    Yamaha RayZR Tops the Charts
Yamaha RayZR continued as the brand’s best-seller, clocking 16,421 units in July 2025. This represented an 11.78% YoY growth compared to 14,690 units sold in July 2024, and a solid MoM gain of 15.04% over 14,274 units in June 2025. Holding a commanding 32.60% share of Yamaha’s portfolio, RayZR remains the key volume driver for the brand.
Yamaha Sales Breakup July 2025 – YoY Comparison
The FZ followed at No. 2 with 11,110 units sold. It posted a marginal 1.33% YoY growth from 10,964 units in July 2024 and a steady 3.19% MoM rise. Yamaha MT15, though weaker on YoY terms with a 13.70% decline (8,514 units vs. 9,866 units in July 2024), managed to recover on a MoM basis with a strong 19.53% jump over June’s 7,125 units.
Yamaha R15 Sees Sharp MoM Recovery
The R15 supersport bike struggled YoY, dropping 23.98% to 6,623 units compared to 8,712 units in July 2024. However, MoM numbers told a different story as sales surged by 51.21% over 4,380 units in June 2025 — the highest percentage growth among Yamaha’s key models last month.
Yamaha Sales Breakup July 2025 – MoM Comparison
Yamaha Fascino faced headwinds with sales at 5,450 units, down 45.78% YoY and 11.02% MoM. The dip is likely due to customers awaiting the facelifted 2025 Fascino, which debuted on August 14 with significant updates. Further down the order, Yamaha Aerox posted 2,239 units while R3/MT03 together accounted for 8 units, both registering steady growth over last year.
Overall, while Yamaha’s July sales highlighted YoY challenges, the strong MoM rebound across RayZR, FZ, MT15, and especially R15 suggests momentum could build up in the coming festive season with new launches driving demand. More

At No. 2, Honda Activa surged with sales of 2,37,413 units, marking a healthy 21.37% YoY increase from 1,95,604 units a year earlier. Top 10 Two-Wheelers July 2025
    TVS Jupiter Sees Strongest Growth
Honda Shine followed at No. 3 with 1,59,658 units, registering a 2.29% YoY decline compared to 1,63,402 units in July 2024. Bajaj Pulsar ranked fifth, though its sales fell 16.67% YoY to 79,817 units from 95,789 units in July 2024. Mopeds Lose Ground, Unicorn Gains
TVS XL, the only moped in the list, reported a 9.51% decline with 33,991 units sold, down from 37,563 units in July 2024. Closing the top 10 was Honda CB Unicorn 160, which delivered a 14.54% YoY growth with 30,572 units, compared to 26,690 units last year.
While the overall two-wheeler market reflected robust demand led by scooters and commuter motorcycles, the decline in mopeds suggests shifting consumer preference toward more versatile offerings. With festive season demand approaching, manufacturers are expected to further push new variants and special editions to sustain this growth momentum. More

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash Launch Price Rs 2.49 L

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash ColourRoyal Enfield, one of the world’s oldest motorcycle manufacturers, has been India’s de facto classic and neo retro manufacturer for a very long time. While the 350cc lineup is RE’s cash cow, the company is pushing the 450cc lineup in a big way. We’re talking about the Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash which was just launched at GRRR Nights X Underground event held in Pune in partnership with Tapaswi Racing.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash
Launched last year, Guerrilla 450 has not been a sales phenomenon like Royal Enfield’s 350cc portfolio is. January 2025 saw 349 units sold, 621 units in February, 831 units in March, 920 units in April, 1,035 units in May and 696 units in June. To boost sales to Guerrilla’s full potential, Royal Enfield just launched a new Shadow Ash colourway with it.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash Colour
Based on mid-spec Dash trim level, Guerrilla 450 Shadow Ash sits below top-spec Flash trim level. Where pricing is concerned, Royal Enfield is asking Rs 2.49 lakh (Ex-sh) for Shadow Ash, which is the same price as standard colours. Bookings have commenced and deliveries start on 25th August across India.
Shadow Ash colourway takes a similar approach as Gold Drip colourway. In this sense, fuel tank gets a dual-tone theme with Black at the front and Olive Green behind it. Similar to Gold Drip, colour at the front extends to front mud guard, while rear colour extends to side and rear body panels. In Shadow Ash, Black is on front mud guard and Olive Green can be seen on side and rear body panels.

    New TVS Electric Scooter
TVS Motor is gearing up to launch an all-new electric scooter in India on 28th August 2025. Ahead of the official debut, the company has released a teaser with the caption “Get ready for an electrifying ride”, confirming that the upcoming model will indeed be an EV.
    New TVS Electric Scooter
Recently, leaked design sketches from Indonesia had given a glimpse of what could be TVS’s next electric scooter. The design language shows a sporty and futuristic stance with sharp LED lighting elements. At the front, it gets sleek horizontal LED DRLs along with LED turn indicators, while the main headlamp unit is positioned on the handlebar cowl. A tall windscreen adds to its touring-oriented styling.
    New TVS Electric Scooter
The scooter features slim body panels with a prominent design element running from the apron through the floorboard, possibly housing the battery pack. At the rear, it sports a split grab rail, LED tail lamps, and a tidy tail section. Other notable design highlights include a small glovebox with charging port, dual rear shock absorbers, and wheels that appear to be 14-inch at the front and 12-inch at the rear.
Speculation also suggests that the scooter could be powered by a mid-mounted motor, offering better balance and performance compared to hub-mounted setups. Hero Glamour X 125 First Ride Review – Cruise Control For The Masses!

Hero Glamour X 125 First Ride ReviewIndia’s leading motorcycle manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp is set to rewrite the script of the country’s budget commuter motorcycle segment. The company promised to deliver “Most Futuristic 125cc” offering and launched Glamour X 125 in the country for a starting price of Rs 89,999 (Ex-sh). After riding this Glamour X 125 in Jaipur for around a day, this is what we think about it.
Hero Glamour X 125 First Ride Review
Where pricing is concerned, Glamour X is positioned above the rest of Hero’s 125cc motorcycles other than Xtreme 125R. The base variant of standard Glamour undercuts Glamour X by around Rs 3k, while base variant of Super Splendor undercuts Glamour X by around Rs 1k. Glamour XTEC is slightly pricier than Glamour X.
    Hero Glamour X Design
The top-spec Disc variant of Glamour X is priced at Rs 99,999 (Ex-sh), which is around Rs 5k to 8k pricier than Super Splendor, Glamour and Glamour XTEC. For the extra price, Glamour X delivers an upmarket design along with extra features and technology which is never heard of in the 125cc motorcycles that cost more than twice the price of Glamour X.
Disc variant gets all bells and whistles including the LED tail lights, LED turn indicators, Panic Braking feature, fully digital LCD instrument cluster with advanced Bluetooth features and improved switchgear with Glamour X’s pièce de résistance, the Cruise Control feature. LED headlight setup is common between both variants.
    Hero Glamour X Design
Design-wise, Glamour X has a muscular fuel tank with extended tank shrouds, a tall windscreen over the stylish LED headlight setup, striking LED DRLs, a belly pan under the engine compartment, a smart-looking single-piece seat, single-piece rear pillion grab rail, stylish LED tail lights, sleek LED turn indicators and attractive dual-tone graphics all around. Alloy wheel design is quite interesting too.
One can spruce up the design of Glamour X with official accessories. Some of them are quite useful including tank knee pads, pillion backrest, rear tyre hugger, knuckle guards, engine guards and a belly pan. Interestingly, Hero offers a shorter windscreen as an accessory, while taller windscreen comes as standard, which was a ‘huh’ moment for me when I first saw it.
    Hero Glamour X Design
    Added Features
Now that appearances are out of the way, we can dig into the juiciest part of this Glamour X, which is its features list. Starting with its fully digital LCD instrument cluster, it is a similar unit as Xtreme 250R and it shows quite a lot of information for a 125cc motorcycle class. There’s even a gear position indicator that also advises upshifts and downshifts depending on the speed and gear you are in.
    Hero Glamour X Instrument Cluster
Speedo, tacho, twin trip computers, distance to empty, avg fuel efficiency, date, time, i3S on/off, Ride Modes and Bluetooth connectivity are some of the notable features of this cluster. This cluster also gets an ambient light sensor that can adjust brightness based on lighting conditions. Bluetooth connection with a smartphone enables notifications and turn-by-turn navigation. First in any Hero product, we have a USB Type-C port. On left switchgear, two buttons operate cluster menus, while the third Mode button cycles through Eco, Road and Power riding modes.
Hero Glamour X Switchgear – Cruise Control
    Cruise Control
This is a baffling feature that is expected to shake the market and make the world stand up and take notice of Hero Glamour X. From what we saw, it has worked. From initial spy shots to the actual launch, Glamour X has created and maintained tremendous buzz and it surprisingly delivers. For cruise control to work, Hero MotoCorp is offering ride by wire technology and this electronic throttle body still retains a kick starter, combination of these is a world’s first.
Using cruise control is fairly simple and is operated by the toggle on right switchgear. Base speed for cruise control to work is 30 km/h and it will maintain set speeds reliably until a manual override from user in the form of clutch, brake and throttle activation. After manual override, one flick of cruise control toggle re-activates and resumes previously set speed seamlessly. So, cruise control is not a gimmick on this motorcycle if users really want to make use of it.
    Hero Glamour X Wheels
    Ride & Dynamics
Other than the added features, Glamour X is a commuter offering through and through, as signified by its cycle parts. It continues to get 30mm RSU telescopic front forks, and 5-step preload adjustable rear twin shock absorbers. Front disc brake is optional, while rear drum brake is standard. Alloy wheels are 18-inchers at both ends, wrapped with 80/100-18 front and 100/80-18 rear tubeless tyres. All these are mounted on a Diamond-type frame.
Hero Glamour X Tyres & Brakes
Wheelbase is 1,267 mm, seat height is 790 mm and ground clearance is 170 mm. Depending on variant, kerb weight is between 125.5 kg to 127 kg. Handlebar is wide and footpegs are forward set, offering a relaxed riding posture. Swinging the leg over Glamour X’s saddle is relatively easy for both rider and pillion.
    Hero Glamour X Powertrain
Glamour X shares the 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with Xtreme 125R. This powerplant is capable of delivering 11.4 bhp of peak power at 8250 RPM and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM, mated to a 5-speed gearbox that comes with a heel-and-toe shifter, common among commuter motorcycles.
    Hero Glamour X Suspension
Performance is brisk and is on par with other 125cc budget commuters on sale in India. On the highway, I could even manage to strike 100 km/h indicated speed reading on the instrument cluster in 5th gear. Ride quality is balanced in typical Hero fashion and it offers a comfortable commuter to users. It handles like a commuter running on skinny tyres, which is par for this segment. Also par for this segment is braking performance.
    Hero Glamour X Design
    Some Reservations
While Hero Glamour X is a great overall package with a lot of potential to shake the entire world’s commuter segment, there is room for improvement.
    1. If we divide Glamour X’s design into four quarter, the top right quarter is downright sporty and attractive along with radiating an upmarket feel. Top left quarter looks like a premium commuter. However, bottom quarters are nothing to write home about. Maybe fatter tyres would have helped the cause significantly.
    Hero Glamour X Design
    2. We didn’t touch on the Bluetooth features in depth because just like every other Hero product we reviewed (except for Vida scooters), we could not connect our smartphone with this system. I personally own a Xoom 125 and I am not able to get this app working even as an owner.
    Conclusion
Other than these two grievances, Hero Glamour X 125 comes off as a compelling product. Overall fit and finish is par for this segment and it bears quite a few upmarket features and first-in-the-world technologies that work as advertised. Especially the Cruise Control feature which could reshape the whole commuter motorcycle landscape.
    Hero Glamour X Features
Glamour X is such a compelling product, it makes standard Glamour and Glamour XTEC obsolete and might even eat into the pie of Super Splendor. It has great potential to shake up the 125cc commuter segment as it aims to be an aspiring vehicle for many commuters to own.
