Rear tyre on Augur is 130 section, while Aerox gets 140.Augur gets a larger 6.1L fuel tank as opposed to 5.5L on Aerox. Owing to all this equipment, Augur weighs 132 kg and is heavier as opposed to 126 kg of Aerox 155 sold in India. Despite being largely similar to Aerox 155, Augur gets a step-through floor board which enhances practicality ten fold.     Top 10 200cc To 500cc Motorcycles Oct 2022 – Classic, Bullet, Pulsar, Dominar

    Most of the heavy lifting in the top 10 200cc to 500cc motorcycles segment is done by Royal Enfield with 6 products, all lying in top 7Bajaj Pulsar F250Kicking things off, we have the evergreen Classic 350 which also topped the charts in September 2022. It sold an astonishing 31,791 units last month and gained 69.75% YoY and 15.31% MoM in sales. Classic 350 alone constitutes 34.07% market share in this segment. Recently launched Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 takes 2nd and 3rd spots.Meteor registered a 31.87% YoY gain. However, both Hunter and Meteor sales declined MoM by 9.77% and 4.49% respectively. The legendary Bullet 350 sold 8,755 units and saw 50.38% YoY growth as opposed to 5,822 units sold a year ago. Bullet maintains the exact same vehicles sold MoM and stays neutral.200cc to 500cc Motorcycles Oct 2022Electra 350 sales doubled YoY with 4,575 units over 2,246. Even in MoM analysis, Electra shows a growth of 9.61%. Even though it lost sales YoY by 37.21%, Honda CB350 sold 4,491 units in October 2022 and gained 12.84% MoM. CB350 takes 6th spot and breaks the chain of Royal Enfield in the top-selling list with 4.81% market share.Himalayan and KTM 250 range sold 3,751 and 2,187 motorcycles and registered 0.62% and 88.21% YoY growth and 7.85% and 1.25% MoM growth respectively. Dominar 250 registered an astounding 164000% YoY growth with 1,641 units sold as opposed to just one unit sold in 2021. MoM figures fell by 11.20%, though.200cc to 500cc Motorcycles Sales – YoYPulsar 250 range falls behind with evident losses in both YoY and MoM analysis of 78.12% and 21.13% respectively. KTM 390 series saw 1,250 units sold and witnessed 6.75% YoY growth and a 17% MoM decline in sales. Dominar 400 and Honda CB300 range sold 1,197 and 681 units in October 2022 respectively and secured 12th and 13th spots on this list.Both Dominar 400 and CB300 registered positive growth in YoY and MoM analysis. While the former grew its sales by 9.72% YoY and 54.05% MoM, the latter registered 68000% YoY growth as it had sold just 1 unit a year before. MoM growth was 34.85%. Avenger 220 and Apache RR 310 sold 607 and 366 units and fell into the red completely.Avenger, Apache, V-Strom Sales Sales declined on both MoM and YoY basis for Avenger 220 and Apache 310. FZ25 registered YoY decline of 40.29%, but with 489 units sold over 343 units in September 2022, MoM growth was 42.57%. Recently launched Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 saw 1.11% decline in its sales on MoM basis with figures standing at 355 units.200cc to 500cc Motorcycles Sales – MoMEven though Husqvarna sold just 345 units of its Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 combined, sales grew by 6800% YoY and 29.7% MoM. Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 sold 136 and 65 units in October 2022 and both of them registered negative growth YoY and MoM respectively.Despite being pricey, Ninja 300 outsold Gixxer 250 which is an indication of how poor packaging can sabotage a good product. Ninja 400 and CB500 sold 36 and 5 units respectively and both registered negative growth. Jawa and Yezdi retail sales stood at 3,496 units and registered 33.38% YoY growth and 24.28% MoM growth. Volume gain stood at 875 units YoY and 683 units MoM.In total, 200cc to 500cc motorcycles segment saw 93,316 motorcycles in October 2022. As opposed to 60,368 motorcycles sold in October 2021 and 89,822 motorcycles sold in September 2022, this segment registered 33.58% YoY growth and 3.89% MoM growth. With OG RX100’s looks and a modern 300cc to 350cc engine, it would be an absolute weapon against Royal Enfield motorcycles.We say this because RX100s touched more lives in the past than Royal Enfield motorcycles have. Sales which had stood at 1,27,415 units in October 2021 increased to 1,79,043 units in October 2022. It was however, a MoM decline of 1.81 percent when compared to 1,82,344 units sold in Sept 2022.It was Bajaj Pulsar series that topped the charts with 49,389 units sold in Oct 2022, up 54.81 percent as against 31,902 units sold in Oct 2021. It commanded a 27.58 percent share on this list up from 24.93 percent share held in Sept 2022 when sales had stood at 45,464 units relating to an 8.63 percent MoM growth.Top 10 150cc To 200cc Motorcycles Oct 2022There is the new Pulsar P150 added to the series taking the place of the Pulsar 150. It is priced at Rs 1,16,755 (ex-showroom) and comes in a single-cylinder, 150cc engine offering 14.4 hp power and 13.5 Nm torque.At No. 2, TVS Apache range, that includes Apache RTR 160/RTR 160 6V, Apache RTR 180, and Apache RTR 200 4V, has posted a YoY growth of 2.99 percent to 40,988 units in Oct 2022, up from 39,799 units sold in Oct 2021. Currently commanding a 22.89 percent share, sales dipped MoM from 42,954 units sold in Sept 2022.150cc to 200cc Motorcycle Sales Oct 2022 vs Oct 2021 (YoY)Sales of Honda Unicorn 150 rose 351.97 percent on a YoY basis to 31,986 units in Oct 2022, up from 7,077 units sold in Oct 2021. MoM sales however, dipped 11.55 percent from 36,161 units sold in Sept 2022. Securing a 4th position was the Yamaha FZ. This FZ range is the most sold Yamaha bike last month with YoY growth of 52.49 percent to 20,440 units, up from 13,404 units sold in Oct 2021. MoM sales fell marginally by 0.06 percent from 20,453 units sold in Sept 2022.The company also sold 10,541 units of the R15 relating to a 2.88 percent YoY growth over 10,246 units sold in Oct 2021. MoM sales of the R15 also grew by 10.38 percent from 9,550 units sold in Sept 2022. The R15 currently commands a share of 5.89 percent in this segment. Yamaha MT15 sales saw a YoY growth of 33.59 percent to 8,037 units in Oct 2022 from 6,016 units sold in Oct 2021 while MoM sales dipped by 65 units from 8,102 units sold in Sept 2022.Avenger Sales up 41125 Percent YoYHero Xtreme 160R (5,164 units), KTM 200 (4,002 units) and Xpulse 200 (2,972 units) each posted a YoY de-growth though sales of the Xtreme and KTM200 improved on a MoM basis. Bajaj had sold only 4 units of the Avenger series in Oct 2021 which increased 41125 percent to 1,649 units in Oct 2022. MoM sales however dipped 1.55 percent from 1,675 units sold in Sept 2022.150cc to 200cc Motorcycle Sales Oct 2022 vs Sep 2022 (MoM)Honda X-Blade and Hornet followed in quick succession at Nos. 11 and 12 on this list with 1,435 units and 1,320 units sold respectively in Oct 2022.
