Mileage of Top BS6 scooters in India – Honda Activa to Yamaha Fascino

Mileage or fuel economy has always been a top priority in affordable segments, regardless of vehicle category

Along with demands for better designs and latest features, scooter buyers highly prioritise fuel efficiency. India is a country where fuel economy or “mileage” (actually stands for ODO reading in miles) plays a major role in the success of any vehicle form in its respective affordable range.

The Indian automotive industry has shifted to BS6 emission norms and as a result, most scooters come with an FI system to cut down emissions. Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) can also help attain maximum fuel economy without compromising too much on performance.
