If you think of one motorcycle brand that has redefined performance for the masses, Bajaj Pulsar will come up at the top. Pulsar is Bajaj’s best-selling nameplate and it has remained relevant today, despite hardly posing any real design updates. That is because Pulsar has always been ahead of its time.
The last major update to Pulsar 150 Classic came in the form of UG 4.5 in 2010 which added clip-on handlebars, 3D Pulsar badge and others. Since then, Pulsar 150 Classic has remained the same until now. Say hello to 2026 Pulsar 150 Classic which has received a major update for the first time since 2010. Let’s take a closer look.
2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Reach Showrooms
In a recent video leaked on social media platforms, we can see a new load of 2026 Pulsar 150 Classic being unloaded from a truck and stored into a dealer yard. This is the first real update to Pulsar 150 Classic, featuring changes outside of evolving graphics and colours across 15 years since the launch of UG 4.5 in 2010.
A formal launch is yet to happen, which could take place during this year’s IBW. The main design update seen with 2026 Pulsar 150 Classic comes in the form of a new headlight housing which now populates LED bulbs. Even the turn indicators are now LEDs and together, they give 2026 Pulsar 150 Classic a bold new look.
Bajaj Auto designers have ensured the update still feels in line with the iconic silhouette of Classic Pulsar philosophy. We can’t see any other changes in this video, while there might be a few more revisions below the surface. Fuel tank, tank shrouds, clip-on handlebars, split seat setup, split grab rail, same exhaust end can and alloy wheels are retained.
What to expect?
We could also see 2026 Pulsar 150 variants with single-piece seat and single-piece grab rail as well. The new headlight design somewhat reminds us of Bajaj’s own Discover lineup (now discontinued). The same fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation might also be retained as well.

The engine is not expected to come with any changes. So, the same 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine will generate around 13.8 bhp and 13.4 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A formal launch might happen around the 2025 India Bike Week and a marginal price hike is expected.
