TVS Motor has reported total sales of 3,97,623 units in Jan 2025. This was a 17.12% YoY growth from 3,39,513 units sold in Jan 2024 while MoM sales improved from 321,687 units in December 2024. Sales growth was seen both in domestic and exports of 2 wheelers. While 3W domestic sales also ended positively, the same could not be said about 3W exports that suffered a 5.17% decline.

In Jan 2025, TVS sold 1,74,388 units of motorcycles reflecting a 12.07% YoY growth from 1,55,611 unit sales in Jan 2024. This related to an 18,777 unit volume increase. Motorcycles command a 44.98% share in the company portfolio. It was also a MoM growth of 20.42% when compared to 1,44,811 unit sales of Dec 2024.
Scooter sales, boosted by the Jupiter, too grew significantly both on a YoY and MoM basis to 1,71,111 units. There were 1,32,290 units and 1,33,919 units sold in Jan 2024 and Dec 2024 respectively. Scooter share in the company range stands practically on par with its motorcycle range at at 44.14%.
With the new TVS iQube ST revealed at the 2025 Auto Expo and set to launch in the months ahead, e-scooter sales are set to improve even more. The company’s e-scooter range grew by 54.80% YoY to 25,195 units in Jan 2025 from 16,276 units sold in Jan 2024. MoM sales too saw a 24.91% improvement.
TVS has the XL moped also in its range, sales of which stood at 42,172 units in the past month. This related to a 0.32% YoY growth but a more pronounced MoM improvement by 26.75%. These 2W sales figures took total sales to 2,93,860 units in Jan 2025 up 9.55% from 2,68,233 units sold in Jan 2024 while it was also a 36.63% MoM growth.
The company’s 2W range also highly popular in global markets, showed off a 52.03% YoY with 93,811 units shipped in the past month. Exports however, declined by 3.21% MoM basis. This took total 2W sales to 3,87,671 units in Jan 2025, up from 3,29,937 units and 3,12,002 units sold in Jan 2024 and Dec 2024 respectively.

Three wheeler sales showed off a 39.80% YoY growth in domestic markets to 2,708 units while MoM sales too improved by 22.04%. Exports on the other hand fell both on a YoY and MoM basis to 7,244 units. There were 7,639 units and 7,466 units exported in Jan 2024 and Dec 2024 respectively.
Total domestic sales (2W+3W) saw a 3.93% YoY and 36.48% MoM growth to 2,96,568 units in Jan 2025. Total YoY exports too improved significantly to 1,01,005 units though reduced export shipments of both 2 and 3 wheelers related to a MoM fall by 3.20% when compared to 1,04,393 units shipped in Dec 2024.
