Taking on the 125cc scooters sold in India, Hero has just launched the new Destini 125, which was showcased last year. This new and modern 125cc scooter from Hero MotoCorp directly undercuts its immediate 125cc rivals like Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Fascino 125, Activa 125 and TVS Jupiter 125.
Hero Destini 125 Launch Price
Launch price for new Hero Destini 125 starts from Rs 80,450, making it an an attractive proposition. There are three variants to choose from – VX, ZX and ZX+. Colours are rather interesting with Destini 125. VX trim gets three options – Eternal White, Regal Black and Groovy Red. ZX gets two colours – Cosmic Blue and Mustique Magenta.
Lastly, we have ZX+ that gets two colours – Eternal White and Regal Black, but with stylish Copper chrome highlights. Only the top variants get a pillion backrest as standard. Also, the fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity is also with top-spec variants only. VX is priced at Rs 80,450, ZX at Rs 89,300 and ZX+ at Rs 90,300 (Ex-sh).
There is a fresh design with new Destini 125 scooter, featuring a stylish LED headlight setup with H-insignia. There’s an illuminated start button along with turn indicators that cancel on their own (time based). Hero has given this scooter a 190mm disc brake at the front, improved 12-inch front and rear wheels, wider rear tyre along with Hero’s i3S stop/start feature.
With i3S, Hero MotoCorp has increased mileage figures of new Destini 125 too. At 59 km/l, it is among the most efficient scooters on sale in India. With top-spec ZX+ trim, Hero has also added turn-by-turn navigation, which is a welcome feature. A 125cc i3S-equipped engine is rated to deliver 9 bhp of peak power and 10.4 Nm of peak torque.
