Bajaj Sales Breakup Dec 2024 – Pulsar, Chetak, Platina, Freedom CNG

Bajaj Auto Limited has ended 2025 with negative sales. Sales of its two wheelers fell by 14.16% on a YoY basis while the company suffered a steeper MoM decline of 38.50%. Even as the Bajaj Pulsar continued to top sales charts, it was the Platina and Chetak along with the relatively new Freedom and CT that showed positive YoY demand.

Experiencing lower sales, Bajaj Auto has struck off some variants from its portfolio with effect from January 2025. These include the Pulsar F250, Platina 110 ABS and CT125X. Discontinuing Pulsar F250 comes ahead of the new Pulsar RS200 that has recently been launched.

Bajaj Sales Breakup December 2024

Bajaj sales stood at 1,21,107 units in Dec 2024, down by 14.16% over 1,41,085 units sold in Dec 2023. It was a drastic 38.50% Mom de-growth from 1,96,906 units sold in Nov 2024. This led to a massive 75,799 unit dip in volumes. Bajaj Pulsar range continued to scale over other models in terms of sales even as it has suffered a 38.82% YoY and 42.95% MoM decline to 65,301 units.

Bajaj Pulsar commands a 53.92% share and saw its 125cc model most in demand with 41,908 units sold last month. There were also 14,471 units of Pulsar 150 cc and 6,131 units and 2,409 units of Pulsar 200cc and 250 cc sold respectively. Pulsar MoM sales dipped by 42.95% from 1,14,467 units sold in Nov 2024. Bajaj Auto recently expanded its Pulsar range to include the Pulsar N160 Single Seat Variant.

Bajaj Sales Breakup Dec 2024 – YoY

Platina sales grew by 58.26% YoY but declined by 42.61% on a MoM basis to 25,584 units. This accounted for 21.13% of the company sales. Registering positive YoY growth was also Bajaj Chetak electric scooter with 21,020 unit sales in the past month which was a massive 61.59% improvement from 13,008 units sold in Dec 2023. MoM sales however, fell by 18.15%. Chetak also made its way up to No. 4 on the top 10 scooter sales chart ahead of the Burgman, iQube and Ntorq.

Sales of the Bajaj Freedom stood at 4,173 units last month which was a 10.24% MoM decline from 5,953 units sold in Nov 2024. It was followed by Bajaj CT that also showed off positive YoY sales at 3,866 units, a 9.70% improvement from 3,524 unit sales of Dec 2024. CT MoM sales fell by 10.24%.

Bajaj Avenger and Dominar Sales December 2024

Bajaj Avenger and Dominar and both suffered lower YoY and MoM demand. Avenger sales dipped by 28.17% YoY and 44.31% on a MoM basis to 724 units. There had been 1,008 units and 1,300 units sold in Dec 2023 and Nov 2024 respectively.

Bajaj Sales Breakup Dec 2024 – MoM

Sales of the Dominar too slipped by 31.94% YoY and 29.31% MoM to 439 units. Sales in Dec 2023 had stood at 645 units while there had been 621 units sold in Nov 2024. Displacement-wise sales breakup for the Dominar showed its 400cc model more in demand over its 250cc counterpart. There were 226 units of the 400cc sold versus 213 units of the 250cc model sold in Dec 2024.
