Activa, India’s best-selling scooter, continues to set benchmarks in the two-wheeler market. Known for its reliability and performance, the scooter is offered in two engine options – 110cc and 125cc. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has now introduced the updated 125cc Activa, making it compliant with the latest OBD2B norms while adding advanced features and design upgrades. Priced starting at Rs. 94,422 (ex-showroom Delhi), the 2025 Activa 125 promises to cater to the evolving needs of modern riders.
Key Highlights of the New Activa 125
The 2025 Activa 125 features a 124cc 4-stroke SI engine, delivering 6.11 kW of power at 6250 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. This engine is now OBD2B compliant, aligning with stricter emission norms and Honda’s sustainable mobility goals. The scooter also features an idling stop system, which enhances fuel efficiency by automatically switching off the engine during prolonged stops.
To keep up with technological trends, the Activa 125 now comes with a 4.2-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. This allows riders to access features like turn-by-turn navigation, call, and message alerts. Adding to the convenience, a USB Type-C charging port is also integrated, making it easier for riders to charge devices on the go.
Dimensions and Design
The Activa 125 maintains its iconic silhouette but receives subtle design updates, including contrasting brown seats and inner panels for a premium touch. The scooter measures 1850mm in length, 707mm in width, and 1170mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1260mm and ground clearance of 162mm.
