Ford Ranger Gets 3 Ford Performance Off-Road Packages Full of Badass Upgrades

  • Ford is offering three dealer-installed Ford Performance off-road accessory packages for 2019 and 2020 Ford Ranger pickups.
  • All three packages include an off-road suspension with tuned Fox shocks, 17-inch Dyno Gray wheels, and Ford Performance decals on the windshield and rear fenders.
  • The Ford Performance Level 1 package costs $2495 before installation, the Level 2 costs $4495, and the fully loaded Level 3 costs $8,995.

As an off-roader, the Ford Ranger pickup might seem somewhat bland, but the FX4 off-road package, which adds an off-road-focused FX4 suspension, beefier tires, locking rear differential, skid plates, and tow hooks, spices things up a little. But for those who prefer Blazin’ Sauce when they indulge at their local Buffalo Wild Wings, that might not be enough, so Ford’s adding three Ford Performance off-road accessory packages to the Ranger to up the ante.

You also get a Ford Performance engine calibration for the turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder that ups output to 315 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque. This package costs $4495 without installation.

The Level 3 package gets all the goodies from the Level 1 and 2 packages along with a Ford Performance chase rack with a 40-inch LED light bar, an ARB winch-capable front bumper, and a sport exhaust system. Oh, and the tow hooks are red, not blue. The top-tier off-road accessory package costs $8995 before everything is added. Scoville level: 350,000.
