Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is on a launch spree. After launching new Activa 125 and SP125, they have now launched the updated 2025 SP160, designed to meet the needs of modern riders. Featuring an OBD2B-compliant engine, bold styling, and cutting-edge technology, the new SP160 is priced starting at Rs. 1,21,951 (ex-showroom Delhi). This update aims to cater to young, ambitious riders seeking a perfect blend of performance, style, and functionality.
2025 Honda SP160 Launched
The new Honda SP160 is powered by a 162.71cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum power output of 9.9 kW at 7500 RPM and a peak torque of 14.58 Nm at 5500 RPM. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the SP160 promises a refined and efficient performance that complies with OBD2B norms.
The bike also features a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity through the Honda RoadSync app, offering turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, music playback, and seamless access to essential ride information. Additionally, the SP160 is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port to ensure riders can charge their devices on the go.
Specs and Variants
Built with a sporty yet practical design, the SP160 features a muscular fuel tank with shrouds, an aerodynamic undercowl, a bold muffler with a chrome cover, and an all-LED headlamp and taillamp setup. Dimensions-wise, the SP160 measures 2061 mm in length, 786 mm in width, and 1113 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1347 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 177 mm, a seat height of 796 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
The kerb weight stands at 139 kg for the Single Disc variant and 141 kg for the Double Disc variant. Tyre specifications include an 80/100-17M/C 46P front tyre and a 130/70-17M/C 62P rear tyre. The braking system comprises a 276 mm disc at the front and either a 220 mm disc or a 130 mm drum at the rear, depending on the variant.
The SP160 will be available in two variants: Single Disc, priced at Rs. 1,21,951, and Double Disc, priced at Rs. 1,27,956 (ex-showroom Delhi). It also offers four striking color options: Radiant Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, and Athletic Blue Metallic.
