BGAUSS electric scooter prices are in the range of Rs 63k to Rs 68k
BGauss has launched two electric scooters in India – the B8 and A2. Both were revealed earlier this month. Now the company has now initiated online pre-bookings at a deposit of Rs.3,000 with deliveries to commence from August 2020. In first phase, deliveries will be initiated in cities such as Pune, Navi Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
BGauss B8 and A2 are two new electric scooters which are being produced at the company plant at Chakan near Pune. The B8 is a Li technology, lithium Ion and lead acid variant while the A2 is a lead acid and lithium ion variant. Bookings can be made at the company website https://www.bgauss.com/, from today.

The Bgauss B8 scooters will be presented in three variants of Lead Acid priced at Rs.62,999, Lithium ion at Rs.82,999 and Li Technology at Rs.88,999. The A2 electric scooters gets two variants of Lead Acid and Lithium ion priced at Rs.52,499 and Rs.67,999 respectively. Both bikes will be in color options of blue, white, grey and red. BGAUSS electric scooters will boast of a long list of features. Designed for urban travel, the low maintenance bikes are capable of high power, riding comfort and quick charging while design is attractive. Its onboard features include a removable battery, LED instrument panel, multi color digital display, side stand sensor, USB charging and three riding modes of Low, Mid and High. It also receives keyless start, centralized seat lock and DRLs. Safety equipment includes a removable battery, anti theft alarm system and anti theft motor locking. It also gets IOT feature and each model comes in with a mobile App.
Batteries and charging time
The BGauss B8 is the higher of the two electric scooters in terms of performance. It is powered by a 1,900 watt, hub mounted motor along with a 1.45 kWh battery. It can be used with a lead acid battery wherein charging time in 7-8 hours while the removable lithium battery gets a charging time of 3 hours. The company claims that this electric scooter will offer a range of 78 kms with the lead acid battery going down to 70 km range with lithium ion.
The A2 electric scooter gets a 250 watt motor with a lead acid battery that can be charged in 7-8 hours or a removable 1.29 kWh lithium ion battery which charging time in 2-3 hours. The B8 offers a top speed of 50 kmph while the A3 electric scooter is capable of a top speed of 25kmph. Both the bikes come in with combined braking system, regenerative braking and front disc brakes. Deliveries will commence from August 2020.
