For our latest episode of Window Shop with Us, we’re honoring the state of Georgia, which announced last week that road tests were no longer a requirement to get a driver’s license. So with teen drivers being a hot topic of conversation these days, we set out to find the best cars for new teenage drivers for under $10,000.
We were split on whether you should buy a boring, safe vehicle for your teen or something more exciting to make sure they start off their driving careers as a car enthusiast. Some editors went the more practical route and found safe choices such as a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and a late-model Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
