- The Southwest Edition starts at $47,075 and is based on the Laramie trim level.
No, the new Ram 1500 Southwest Edition doesn’t have turquoise dash trim and a bolo tie, but it will be available only in the U.S. Southwest. This appearance and equipment package will be offered for the pickup’s Laramie trim level starting in the second quarter of 2020 in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and New Mexico.
The Southwest Edition’s visual treatment doesn’t seem too different from the Laramie’s available Sport appearance package to us. Like that package, it adds a monochromatic appearance with body-color bumpers; it also has chrome accents and 20-inch wheels. Equipment-wise, the Southwest Edition combines a healthy set of extras including a panoramic sunroof, a huge 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-retractable running boards, and several driver-assistance systems.
The Laramie Southwest Edition starts at $47,075 and is offered with the same bed lengths, cab configurations, and powertrain combinations as the standard Laramie—including a 3.6-liter V-6, a 5.7-liter V-8, and a turbo-diesel 3.0-liter V-6.
