Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price Leaks – Rs 1.39 Lakh, WB Dealer

The same 220 cc single-cylinder engine will be carried over, making 20.9 bhp of power and 18.5 Nm of torque and is coupled to a 5-speed gearboxBajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price LeaksA few months after the launch of Pulsar F250, Bajaj Pulsar 220F was silently retired. But it seems that the new P250 did not manage to engage enough sales as expected. As per sales data, Bajaj has lost considerable sales in the 200 – 250cc segment since the 220F was discontinued. In order to regain lost sales in the 200cc+ segment, Bajaj has relaunched the Pulsar 220F. Production has already started at the company plant, while bookings are now open across India.Bajaj Pulsar 220F Pricing LeaksAfter bringing you pictures of the Pulsar 220F from the production plant, we have now gotten our hands on its pricing as well. Bajaj Pulsar 220F price is pegged at Rs. 1,39,686 (ex-sh), as revealed by a dealer in Durgapur, West Bengal.Pricing of the new Pulsar 220F is in line with what we had anticipated. It is currently the most affordable 200cc+ motorcycle in the Indian market. Bookings of the Pulsar 220F are now open across India.Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price LeaksBajaj Pulsar 220F pricing has been its strength for a long time. Even today, there is no real rival for the Pulsar 220F. The only motorcycle coming close to Pulsar 220F is its newer and bigger sibling Pulsar F250, which is priced at Rs. 1,49,978, ex-sh. Apart from competing with its sibling, Bajaj Pulsar 220F price pits it against Hero Xpulse 200 4V, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda Hornet 2.0 and the likes.Specs & FeaturesWith its revival, we were hoping Bajaj would be adding dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth connectivity (not a blue-backlit Bajaj logo) and some more new features. But Bajaj has kept the Pulsar 220F unchanged. Except for new stickers and colours, there is not much that is new with the 2023 Pulsar 220F.Powering the new Pulsar 220F is a 220cc air/oil cooled engine that is now RDE and OBD-II compliant. New Yamaha FZS V4.0 Arrives At Dealer Showroom – Walkaround

With a price tag of Rs. 1,27,400 (ex-sh), 2023 Yamaha FZ-S Ver 4.0 competes with Xtreme 160R, Apache RTR 160 4V and Pulsar N160New Yamaha FZS V4.0The FZ lineup acts as an entry-level portal into Yamaha’s motorcycle lineup. Thanks to this, it is the highest-selling Yamaha motorcycle in India. Yamaha has now updated FZ-S FI for 2023 and now bears Ver 4.0 tag. There are considerable changes to the outgoing model.Price increment associated with this update is Rs. 3,000. New Yamaha FZS V4.0 is priced from Rs. 1,27,400, as opposed to Rs. 1,24,400 for the outgoing model (both prices ex-sh). Price increment seems to be justified considering everything new with Ver 4.0. Along with new FZS, Yamaha also launched updated versions of FZ-X, R15 V4 and MT-15.2023 Yamaha FZ-S Ver 4.0First batch of the new FZ-S has started to arrive at dealer showrooms. Thanks to K2K Motovlogs we now have a detailed walkaround of 2023 Yamaha FZ-S. Main change that is immediately visible is its front headlight design. Ver 4.0 new face gets twin LED DRLs flanking the main LED headlight unit. These new DRLs somewhat remind me of the red tattoo on Kratos’ face in the God Of War video game.We would have liked it if Yamaha got rid of the chrome element surrounding its fake air vent on its tank shrouds. This still is the only sour point on an otherwise brilliant-looking motorcycle. Nonetheless, it lends FZ-S Ver 4.0 a strong character.[embedded content][embedded content]Other changes include a larger instrument console. This is the same unit as found on Yamaha MT-15. New FZS has a larger LCD display that gets Bluetooth connectivity. It displays phone battery level, SMS alerts and call alerts on the console. No turn-by-turn navigation, though.LED turn indicators are now offered as standard. Earlier, it was offered only as a paid accessory. Even though the braking hardware is kept similar to the outgoing model, TCS has been added with Ver 4.0. This is a welcome addition to Yamaha’s entry-level motorcycle. Taking on corners will be even more inspiring than before. Dual-channel ABS is still not offered.Specs & RivalsWith the new model, Yamaha has integrated OBD-II diagnostics as well. The 149cc single-cylinder engine is BS6 phase II compliant, meeting RDE norms. Along with that, this engine is E20 compliant as well. Meaning, it is capable of running on Ethanol blends up to 20%.Mechanically, there are no changes as of FZ-S Ver 4.0. It still makes 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque. Engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This is a fairly fuel-efficient 150cc motorcycle. Yamaha is offering the same three shades that it used to offer with FZ-S ver 3.0. These are Metallic Black, Metallic Grey and Majesty Red. Only Metallic Grey gets Blue alloys, while the other two get them in Gold shade. More

Ola Electric Scooter Battery Price – Rs 87k For S1 PRO

Prices for Ola S1 Range batteries go till Rs. 66,549 for a 3 kWh pack and Rs. 87,298 for a 4 kWh packOla Electric Scooter Battery CostIndia has opened up to the EV revolution like never before. This is reflected in sales figures as they post meteoric rise month-on-month. Leading this growth in 2W EV segment is Ola Electric. The company recently announced varied battery options for its S1 range of scooters. Along with that, we also got a glimpse of Ola’s 5 future motorcycles too.Ola’s batteries range from 2 kWh (S1 Air & S1), 3 kWh (S1 Air & S1) and 4 kWh (S1 Air & S1 Pro) in capacity. One must have wondered how much one battery from Ola costs. Prices have been recently revealed by a Twitter user Mannu Bhardwaj. Prices for a 3 kWh battery pack for Ola S1 and S1 Air is Rs. 66,549 and a 4 kWh battery pack for S1 Air and S1 Pro is Rs. 87,298.Ola S1 Range Batteries PricesConsidering the price of these scooters respectively, battery alone costs more than half of the entire vehicle. It is staggering to learn how much EV batteries cost. For example, Nexon EV battery pack and electric motor costs Rs 11 lakh. One has to be aware of battery costs while buying EVs.Ola’s banana-shaped batteries are manufactured in-house and are indigenously designed as well. Even though Ola Electric is one of the leading mass-manufacturers of batteries in India, prices are relatively higher. Unlike China, India is still in its infant stages where battery production is concerned.Ola Electric Scooter Battery Cost – 2.98 kW at Rs 66kManufacturing efficiency of China associated with a large scale of production is a crucial factor too. Not to mention the world’s largest reserves of Lithium are in China. Indian battery prices can’t compete with Chinese component prices. Plus we have to pay customs duties. Due to a combination of factors, cost of batteries is relatively higher in India and batteries play a vital role in EV prices.Ola Electric Scooter Battery Cost – 6 kW at Rs 87kOn top of this, Ola’s batteries are part of a high-voltage EV architecture as opposed to abundant slow-speed electric scooters. Ola’s motors are capable of peaking at 4.5 kW (S1 Air) to 8.5 kW (S1 & S1 Pro). Battery development costs and battery optimisation costs add to the overall price too. Ola has engineered its scooter lineup to extract as much as 181 km (claimed) from a single charge.Ola To Setup Lithium Cell Giga FactoriesOla CEO announced today – “Ola will setup the worlds largest EV hub with integrated 2W, Car and Lithium cell Gigafactories in Tamil Nadu”. They have sighed MoU with Tamil Nadu government. These new factories will help bring battery cost down in the future.Ola Electric Announces Lithium cell GigafactoriesOne might argue for Rs. 87,298, they can buy an entire 125cc ICE scooter (ex-sh) and still have Rs. 10,000 left for fuel costs to cover 5,000 km. It is hard to argue with despite the ecological concerns. That said, early adopters are the ones burdened with EV prices so manufacturers reach the mass-production stage. It is what it is.Source More
