2023 Royal Enfield 650 Twins Edition – GT Thunder, INT Lightning

As of now, these new RE 650 Twins editions are only offered in the UK and are not likely to be offered in India2023 Royal Enfield 650 GT Thunder EditionRE 650s are major contributors to 500cc+ motorcycle segment in India with over 80% market share. Ever since the Royal Enfield 650 twins were launched, they have been a runaway success. Until last year, the 650 Twins lineup included Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Now it also includes Super Meteor 650.To keep the winning streak and buzz around its 650cc range, RE has now launched Lightning and Thunder Editions for Interceptor 650 and GT 650 respectively. These are only launched in the UK as of now. For India, RE will soon launch 650 Twins with alloys.Lightning And Thunder Edition – FeaturesThese Editions are basically modified versions of standard 650s with original accessories. These new editions get small front fly screen, soft panniers at the side, a touring seat with a ribbed pattern, touring ORVMs, engine guards, an aluminium sump guard, and a CNC-machined oil filler cap.Accessories are common between both Interceptor 650 Lightning Edition and Continental GT 650 Thunder Edition. With all the accessories in place, Interceptor 650 Lightning Edition looks more like a scrambler, especially with the ribbed seat, soft panniers and sump guard.2023 Royal Enfield 650 INT Lightning EditionPricing for Interceptor 650 Lightning Edition is GBP 6459 (approx Rs. 6.42 lakh) and Continental GT 650 will set one back by GBP 6659 (approx Rs. 6.62 lakh). With Lightning and Thunder Edition, Royal Enfield is not offering any mechanical changes over a standard motorcycle. We won’t complain if Lightning and Thunder Editions are never launched in India. This is because Royal Enfield’s extensive accessory catalog already has these add-ons on offer. One can spec up his / her 650 twin to achieve what Lightning and Thunder Editions has to offer. The 648cc parallel-twin engine is kept as is, making a healthy 47 bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque. This is still an air/oil-cooled engine coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. This platform brought incredible smoothness, something never associated with a Royal Enfield before. Due to their character, rider ergonomics for Interceptor and GT 650 differ slightly.2023 Royal Enfield 650 INT Lightning Edition and GT Thunder EditionFacelift 650 Twins LaunchIn India, Royal Enfield is readying updated versions of its 650cc motorcycles. Test mules for the same have been spied donning 18” alloy wheels. It can be speculated that LED headlights and an integrated tripper module might be part of this update. We can’t say for sure. What we can say for sure, is that other componentry like 41mm telescopic front forks, twin shockers, and braking hardware will be carried over as is. A slight bump in price tag is expected as opposed to outgoing prices – Starting from Rs. 2.88 lakh for Interceptor 650 and Rs. 3.05 lakh for Continental GT 650 (prices ex-sh, Delhi). More

Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price Leaks – Rs 1.39 Lakh, WB Dealer

The same 220 cc single-cylinder engine will be carried over, making 20.9 bhp of power and 18.5 Nm of torque and is coupled to a 5-speed gearboxBajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price LeaksA few months after the launch of Pulsar F250, Bajaj Pulsar 220F was silently retired. But it seems that the new P250 did not manage to engage enough sales as expected. As per sales data, Bajaj has lost considerable sales in the 200 – 250cc segment since the 220F was discontinued. In order to regain lost sales in the 200cc+ segment, Bajaj has relaunched the Pulsar 220F. Production has already started at the company plant, while bookings are now open across India.Bajaj Pulsar 220F Pricing LeaksAfter bringing you pictures of the Pulsar 220F from the production plant, we have now gotten our hands on its pricing as well. Bajaj Pulsar 220F price is pegged at Rs. 1,39,686 (ex-sh), as revealed by a dealer in Durgapur, West Bengal.Pricing of the new Pulsar 220F is in line with what we had anticipated. It is currently the most affordable 200cc+ motorcycle in the Indian market. Bookings of the Pulsar 220F are now open across India.Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price LeaksBajaj Pulsar 220F pricing has been its strength for a long time. Even today, there is no real rival for the Pulsar 220F. The only motorcycle coming close to Pulsar 220F is its newer and bigger sibling Pulsar F250, which is priced at Rs. 1,49,978, ex-sh. Apart from competing with its sibling, Bajaj Pulsar 220F price pits it against Hero Xpulse 200 4V, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Honda Hornet 2.0 and the likes.Specs & FeaturesWith its revival, we were hoping Bajaj would be adding dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth connectivity (not a blue-backlit Bajaj logo) and some more new features. But Bajaj has kept the Pulsar 220F unchanged. Except for new stickers and colours, there is not much that is new with the 2023 Pulsar 220F.Powering the new Pulsar 220F is a 220cc air/oil cooled engine that is now RDE and OBD-II compliant. It delivers 20.9 bhp of power and 18.5 Nm of torque, coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. New Yamaha FZS V4.0 Arrives At Dealer Showroom – Walkaround

With a price tag of Rs. 1,27,400 (ex-sh), 2023 Yamaha FZ-S Ver 4.0 competes with Xtreme 160R, Apache RTR 160 4V and Pulsar N160New Yamaha FZS V4.0The FZ lineup acts as an entry-level portal into Yamaha’s motorcycle lineup. Thanks to this, it is the highest-selling Yamaha motorcycle in India. Yamaha has now updated FZ-S FI for 2023 and now bears Ver 4.0 tag. There are considerable changes to the outgoing model.Price increment associated with this update is Rs. 3,000. New Yamaha FZS V4.0 is priced from Rs. 1,27,400, as opposed to Rs. 1,24,400 for the outgoing model (both prices ex-sh). Price increment seems to be justified considering everything new with Ver 4.0. Along with new FZS, Yamaha also launched updated versions of FZ-X, R15 V4 and MT-15.2023 Yamaha FZ-S Ver 4.0First batch of the new FZ-S has started to arrive at dealer showrooms. Thanks to K2K Motovlogs we now have a detailed walkaround of 2023 Yamaha FZ-S. Main change that is immediately visible is its front headlight design. Ver 4.0 new face gets twin LED DRLs flanking the main LED headlight unit. These new DRLs somewhat remind me of the red tattoo on Kratos’ face in the God Of War video game.We would have liked it if Yamaha got rid of the chrome element surrounding its fake air vent on its tank shrouds. This still is the only sour point on an otherwise brilliant-looking motorcycle. Nonetheless, it lends FZ-S Ver 4.0 a strong character.[embedded content][embedded content]Other changes include a larger instrument console. This is the same unit as found on Yamaha MT-15. New FZS has a larger LCD display that gets Bluetooth connectivity. It displays phone battery level, SMS alerts and call alerts on the console. No turn-by-turn navigation, though.LED turn indicators are now offered as standard. Earlier, it was offered only as a paid accessory. Even though the braking hardware is kept similar to the outgoing model, TCS has been added with Ver 4.0. This is a welcome addition to Yamaha’s entry-level motorcycle. Taking on corners will be even more inspiring than before. Dual-channel ABS is still not offered.Specs & RivalsWith the new model, Yamaha has integrated OBD-II diagnostics as well.
