2021 Toyota RAV4 Adds New Trim Level, Prices Rise

  • Toyota has announced pricing for the 2021 RAV4. It rises by $100 to $500 depending on trim level.
  • The hybrid is now offered in an XLE Premium trim level, and the TRD Off-Road adds a skid plate.
  • The 2021 RAV4 is on sale now at dealerships.

The Toyota RAV4 enters the 2021 model year with slightly higher pricing and a few equipment revisions. There’s a new XLE Premium model for the RAV4 hybrid, and the TRD Off-Road trim level adds a skid plate.

Pricing is up by $100 for the conventional gas models, which start at $27,255 for the front-wheel-drive LE. The standard LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited models come with a 2.5-liter inline-four and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is a $1400 option.

The 2021 RAV4 hybrid, which has standard all-wheel drive, is up by $150 and starts at $29,675. It now offers a hybrid XLE Premium model for $33,675, which adds equipment including 18-inch wheels, a sunroof, LED headlights, and leather upholstery. The hybrid is also available in LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited versions. The plug-in-hybrid RAV4 Prime was also added for 2021 and starts at $39,275, but supplies of that model are low, so be prepared to wait.

The 2021 RAV4 TRD Off-Road starts at $36,955, a $500 increase, and now has a front skid plate. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive and has other off-road tweaks including different wheels, different suspension tuning, and all-terrain tires.

The 2021 Toyota RAV4 is on sale at dealerships now.
