The Night Edition S650 still has the voluptuous interiors that Maybach is known for, but with carbon-fiber trim in the front and rear instead of the sleek wood trims found on the standard models. Don’t forget the rear seats on the S650 have a massage function and a 43-degree recline with power calf rests. To go along with the night theme, the seats are trimmed in Porcelain and black nappa leather with Night Edition floor mats and a black trunk mat with Porcelain edges.

Obsidian Black is the only exterior color choice for the 15 Night Edition S650s, which makes perfect sense, and Night Edition badges adorn the front fenders and interior trim so people know how much money you just dropped on a 1-of-15 Maybach. Well, that is if they know what Night Edition even means. There’s also a carbon-fiber lip spoiler out back, and the luxoboat sits on black 20-inch Maybach wheels.

Like the standard Mercedes-Maybach S650, the Night Edition cars are powered by a a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 that produces 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. All of that is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic gearbox, and during Car and Driver testing, a 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S560 4Matic launched to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Only 15 lucky millionaires will get their hands on the 2020 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Night Edition, and they’re arriving in the U.S. now starting at $243,945—that’s $40,400 more than a standard Maybach S650. We didn’t know that small amount of carbon fiber was that expensive.
