New Hero Xpulse 210, Vida Z, Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R

New product launches by Hero will reveal the brand’s latest engines and its most affordable electric scooter

As part of its growth strategy, Hero MotoCorp has started targeting the higher capacity two-wheeler segment. After the flagship 440 cc Mavrick, the company will launch the Xtreme 250R streetfighter and Xoom 160 maxi-style scooter. Hero will also launch the new Vida Z and Xpulse 210 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

Hero Xtreme 250R

This will feature Hero’s first 250cc, liquid cooled engine. It delivers 30 PS and 25 Nm and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is designed for agile performance, allowing users to achieve 0 to 60 km/h in just around 3.25 seconds. In addition to the engine, overall performance is boosted with lightweight wheels and radial tyres. The latter have a 50-50 weight balance, something that ensures enhanced grip and responsiveness.

Xtreme 250R

Hero Xtreme 250R utilizes a trellis frame, suspended on USD forks at front and a 6-step adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The 43 mm USD forks at front come in golden finish, which enhances the bike’s sporty profile. Both wheels have disc brakes and users also benefit from switchable ABS.

Hero Xoom 160

To be positioned as the brand’s new flagship scooter, Xoom 160 will be Hero’s first scooter with a liquid-cooled engine. The 156cc, single cylinder engine generates 14 hp and 13.7 Nm of torque. Equipped with 14-inch wheels, Hero Xoom 160 will offer improved stability and handling and smoother ride quality. The scooter has dual-purpose tyres, allowing users to ride with confidence across both on-road and off-road environments. Tackling rough patches and potholes will also become easier with the large 14-inch wheels.

Xoom 160

Hero Xoom 160 has a sporty profile with features such as an ADV-style front beak, dual LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a large windscreen and brawny body panelling. Other highlights include a fully digital instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation and keyless entry. Users will be able to access a range of connectivity features via Bluetooth. Hero Xoom 160 will take on rivals such as Yamaha Aerox 155 and Aprilia SXR 160.

Hero Vida Z and Xpulse 210

With focus on affordability and everyday commuting needs, Hero will introduce its new Vida Z electric scooter. A new modular architecture has been used for Vida Z, which can support battery packs in the range of 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh. The scooter will have a removable battery pack and offer a comprehensive range of connectivity features. The digital display is a touch-enabled TFT unit. Users can access features like geofencing, live vehicle tracking and OTA updates.

Xpulse 210

Talking about Xpulse 210, the bike will be using the 210cc engine from Karizma XMR. However, the engine has undergone some tweaks to enhance tractability for Xpulse 210. The 210 cc, liquid cooled DOHC engine churns out 24.5 bhp and 20.4 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch. Suspension travel is 210 mm at front and 205 mm at the rear. Switchable ABS modes allow riders to customize as per the riding conditions. Ground clearance is 220 mm, which is appropriate for off-road tracks. Xpulse 210 is equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT speedometer.
