- GMC is making a few changes to the Acadia lineup for 2022.
- The base SL model and its 2.5-liter inline-four are gone, and the SLE is now the base model.
- Prices start at $35,995 and range up to $47,795 for the Acadia Denali.
GMC is rejiggering the 2022 Acadia lineup, dropping the base SL trim level and its 2.5-liter inline-four engine. This means that the starting price rises by $5000, as the $35,995 SLE now serves as the base Acadia. SLT, AT4, and Denali trim levels remain, and there are a few new standard features and a new extra-cost color called Light Stone metallic.
The SLE and SLT ($40,295) trims come with a 228-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four, and now have additional driver-assistance features as standard equipment. The 18-inch and 20-inch wheel designs are new. A 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6 is optional on the SLT for $495, and all-wheel drive is a $2000–$2300 option.
The off-road-oriented AT4 trim level starts at $42,595 and comes standard with the V-6 and all-wheel drive. The Denali, which has a slightly more luxurious interior and more chrome trim, starts at $47,795 with front-wheel drive and the 2.0-liter engine. A fully loaded Denali with all-wheel drive, the V-6 engine, and all the options tops out at around $55,000.
