As you can see in the video, it is not about any new product launch. The new TVS video highlights dual platform FI technology which is available with TVS products like Apache 310, Jupiter, Ntorq and Radeon.
What is Dual Platform FI
With the BS6 norms kicking in, FI technology has become a must for all two wheelers. This has resulted in multiple benefits like smoother throttle response, more fuel efficiency, better reliability, lower emissions etc.
TVS has gone a step ahead, and tuned the FI tech as per the need of the rider. For example, in the case of Jupiter, NTorq and Radeon, where most buyers would want more mileage, TVS has tuned installed ET-FI or Eco Thrust FI technology. TVS claims that because of this tech, mileage has been increased by 15%.
In the Apache 310, which is also the flagship motorcycle of TVS, they have the RT-FI, which stands for Race Tuned FI. Buyers of Apache 310 are interested more in performance, than in getting more mileage. That is why, the FI system here is tuned differently as compared to Jupiter. TVS RTFI gives you better real throttle feel, improving your riding experience, especially on the race track.
Depending on the requirement of the owner of the respective two wheeler, TVS has developed these special FI technologies, which they are calling Dual Platform FI. And yes, this is India’s First such technology.
