For 2021, Mazda has given the CX-9 slight updates to keep the 10Best-winning three-row SUV competitive in an increasingly crowded field. For this coming year, a 10.3-inch infotainment screen will come standard, and a new Carbon Edition trim with unique styling will be offered.

The updated CX-9 sees a small bump in price for this coming year. The entry-level Sport trim, now $35,060, increases by $70, while the higher Grand Touring, now $43,040, gets a price increase of nearly $400. All-wheel drive remains a $1900 option on all the vehicles except for the Signature trim, which only comes with all-wheel drive.
