  • Chevrolet has released pricing for its 2021 Tahoe full-size SUV, as first reported by Automotive News and confirmed to Car and Driver by a Chevy spokesperson.
  • It starts at $50,295, which is $1000 more than the previous model year.
  • Pricing for the Tahoe with the new diesel engine hasn’t been announced, but we expect it’ll add $4000 to the price.

Chevy’s new 2021 Tahoe full-size SUV will start at $50,295 for the LS model, $55,095 for the LT, and reach as high as $63,895 for the Premier model, a Chevrolet spokesperson confirmed to Car and Driver today.

Production of the new Tahoe will start this spring with with the short-wheelbase V-8–powered models. The longer-wheelbase models will follow shortly after, with diesel production beginning this fall. All of these models now have an independent rear suspension, which allows for much more rear legroom.

The 2021 Tahoe LS is about $1000 more than the previous model year, which starts at $50,295, and the LT costs $800 more than its predecessor at $55,095. The Premier model, however, is $100 cheaper than the previous model at $63,895.

One thing that’s new on the 2021 Tahoe is the addition of a turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six that makes 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Pricing for the diesel hasn’t been announced yet, but we expect it to cost an additional $4000.
