Bajaj Free Battery Recharge Offer Launched – CT100, Avenger, Pulsar, Dominar

In a customer-oriented initiative, Bajaj Auto has launched a special scheme wherein free battery recharge is available for all Bajaj motorcycles. Customers just need to visit their nearest authorized Bajaj service centre to avail this offer. The offer is valid till May 31, 2020. Owners of Bajaj motorcycles like Pulsar, CT 100, Platina, Dominar, Avenger, etc can avail this offer.

Free battery recharge will be beneficial for customers who may not have been able to use their bikes during the lockdown period. The complete lockdown period had lasted for around 6 weeks, which is enough to drain the batteries of motorcycles left unused. Free battery recharge will help customers to use their Bajaj motorcycles with all available battery-linked functionalities.

Bajaj’s free battery recharge offer will also help increase footfall at dealerships. It’s true that auto dealerships are now open in Green and Orange zones, but overall footfall is a lot less as compared to pre-Covid 19 era. Many people are still following a cautious approach and are reluctant to step out of their homes. In this scenario, offers like free battery recharge will motivate people to shed their inhibitions.

Earlier also, Bajaj had launched special offers for the benefit of its customers. After restrictions were eased and showrooms started operations, Bajaj had announced extension of warranty and free service commitments. Customers whose warranty and free service have expired or are set to expire between March 30 and May 31 now have time till July 31 to avail these services. This extension covers all Bajaj motorcycles, starting from the entry level CT and Platina to bestselling Pulsar and flagship Dominar 400.

It is worth noting that this is the second time Bajaj has extended the warranties and free service. The earlier extension was valid up to May 31. Other automakers have also adopted a similar approach in recent times. It’s the right thing to do, as there was no way customers could have availed warranty and free service during the lockdown period.

Even though coronavirus crisis is far from over, things are expected to start normalizing in the coming months. The lockdown has created major disruptions and economic activity has been severely impacted. There’s no way the country can afford to bear another round of complete lockdown.

The way forward for everyone is to get back to work and take adequate precautions as mandated by government and local authorities. Social distancing and sanitization will be the key to control the spread of Covid-19. Medicines and vaccines for Covid-19 are in advanced stages of testing, so we could hear some good news on that front too.
