Honda Dio BSVI is developed with as many as ‘20 patent applications’. The 110cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine benefits from Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) to optimize energy output by ‘maximizing efficient combustion and minimizing friction’ with a silent start.

Honda ACG Starter starts the engine without jolt using the AC generator used to generate current, and charge the battery when riding. This does away with the need for a conventional starter motor, and thereby eliminates gear meshing noises.

2020 Honda Dio is available in two variants – Standard and Deluxe. Standard variant is available in four colours – Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange. Deluxe variant is offered in 3 colours – Mat Sangria Red Metallic, Dazzle Yellow Metallic and Mat Axis Grey Metallic. Deluxe variant is available at a price of Rs. 63,340 (ex-sh, Delhi). The BSIV variant is priced at Rs. 56,241, cheaper by 7,099.

A front storage open pocket makes for convenience in reaching the area when riding. Constant illumination of DC LED headlamp is an added convenience. Wheelbase is now increased by 22mm, and thereby improves stability. Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer and 3-step adjustable rear suspension feature alongwith a new meter design that comes with 3-Step Eco Indicator. Malfunction light detects engine malfunction with the help of sensors. A 6-year warranty package is on offer (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty).
