Retains Monthly EV Sales Lead – MG Windsor CY2025 sales

Recorded as a volume-led outcome within India’s four-wheeler electric vehicle market, MG Windsor CY2025 sales performance reflects sustained retail momentum. Cumulative sales crossed 46,735 units during the calendar year. Monthly volumes averaged close to 4,000 units, indicating stable demand rather than short-term clustering.

Market positioning placed MG Windsor as India’s highest-selling electric car for CY2025. No competing OEM reported equivalent dispatch volumes within the same four-wheeler EV category.

Ownership access is structured through a Battery-as-a-Service model. Vehicle pricing starts at INR 9.99 lakh under this arrangement. Battery usage incurs a charge of INR 3.9 per kilometre. Separate financing applies, subject to stated terms and conditions.

Vehicle and Battery Costs Structured

Such pricing structures typically attract buyers prioritising lower upfront expenditure. Urban users with predictable travel patterns often align with per-kilometre cost visibility. Separating vehicle and battery costs reduces entry friction while retaining standard registration and warranty frameworks.

Powertrain output stands at 100 kW, equivalent to 136 ps. Torque output is rated at 200 Nm. Delivery varies with load, traffic density, and driving inputs. Battery options include a 38 kWh pack delivering a stated range of 332 kilometres. A 52.9 kWh pack, offered on the PRO variant, extends the stated range to 449 kilometres. Actual range depends on driving conditions and usage behaviour.

AeroGlide Design With Aero Lounge Seating

Design execution follows MG’s AeroGlide language. Seating adopts an Aero Lounge configuration with a rear recline angle of 135 degrees. Cabin interaction centres around a 15.6-inch GRANDVIEW Touch Display positioned for shared visibility.
