TVS Motor Company begins its electric mobility journey with a green, silent and connected platform.
The urban TVS iQube electric scooter is powered by and advanced electric drivetrain, and next-gen TVS SmartXonnect platform. TVS iQube Electric features a 4.4 kW electric motor that delivers high power, and efficiency with no transmission loss.
iQube electric scooter has a max speed of 78 kmph and can go 75 kms in full charge. TVS IQube Electric goes from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.2 seconds. The scooter is equipped with modern features including regenerative braking, geo-fencing, navigation assist, remote charge status, smart ride statistics, range indication, battery charge status, over-speed alert, last park location, incoming call alerts/SMS alerts, and Q-park assist among others.
The TVS iQube Electric was launched by Shri. B.S. Yediyurappa, Hon’ble Chief Minster of Karnataka and Shri. Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Shri. Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motor Company.
TVS iQube Electric features proprietary next-gen TVS SmartXonnect platform. The electric scooter is fitted with an advanced TFT cluster and works with TVS iQube app. The scooter features multi-select economy and power mode, and day and night display for convenience. Along with this, the company says this is a noiseless product.
Available in white colour, TVS iQube Electric its contemporary is design. Up front, the scooter is fitted with crystal-clear LED headlamps, LED taillamps and and an illuminating logo. For those interested, one may request a bookeding through the website, or at select dealerships at a booking amount of Rs 5,000. A dedicated customer relationship assistance network has been setup for purchase and support.
Available at a price of Rs 1.15 lakhs on road, the company handed over the keys to the first customer today at the launch event. TVS iQube Electric is available in Bengaluru from January 27, 2020.
