Expanding its portfolio and area-of-expertise, Hyundai Motor Company has been actively pursuing segments and genres beyond cars. The company just showcased its Micro Mobility concepts at Auto Expo 2025, which can launch in collaboration with renowned 2W and 3W vehicle manufacturer, TVS Motor.
Hyundai e3W And e4W
After launching the Creta Electric SUV yesterday, Hyundai showcased its Micro Mobility concepts at Auto Expo 2025. These are designed by Hyundai for intra-city mobility and last-mile mobility solutions, to be operational in the commercial sector. These vehicles are formulated under the company’s vision ‘Progress for Humanity’.
Hyundai and TVS are exploring a possible collaboration to manufacture these 3W and 4W vehicles. As of now, no binding agreements have been signed between both companies. The companies are still exploring possibilities where Hyundai handles the design and development, while TVS manages manufacturing and marketing.
Among the Hyundai e3W and e4W Micro Mobility concepts, only e3W is proposed to be produced by this potential collaboration, while e4W is still under consideration. At Auto Expo 2025, Hyundai showcased concept vehicles of both ideas. e3W Micro Mobility Concept is designed to navigate narrow city streets.
Innovative Features
It has adjustable height so that it can be lifted to navigate waterlogged streets. There’s an angled windshield, flat floor, extended wheelbase, increased legroom, large tyres for comfort and more. Hyundai is going for an ‘Aakaashi Blue’ colour with the Micro Mobility concepts. The company is also considering heat-reducing gloss black paint for roofs and water-resistant material for interiors.
There’s a slim instrument cluster, adaptable storage solutions, a smartphone holder, a small fan along with an umbrella as part of this showcase in concept form. While e3W Concept gets a conventional handlebar, e4W Concept gets a steering wheel. Applications for e3W and e4W Concepts include people mover, cargo and even ‘emergency response’.
