While Bajaj has not yet confirmed the launch of 2025 Pulsar RS200, an update to this supersport is expected and might be the one teased
Bajaj Auto has been a leading enthusiast motorcycle manufacturer, catering to the masses, for a very long time. Now, the company has hinted at more excitement with a new teaser saying “The sound is enough. You already know what it is.. Or do you?”. Where sound is concerned, it sounds like a KTM-derived liquid-cooled motorcycle.
But the Pulsar NS200 has been updated with revised looks, upgraded features and improved components. Leaving Pulsar RS200 as the only product with a KTM-derived liquid-cooled engine that is yet to get a meaningful upgrade. Here’s everything you can expect from a 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200.
1. Revised Design
Bajaj Pulsar RS200’s design has never been a turn-off. That said, it can do better. Especially at the rear where the LED tail lights could be better designed. Pulsar RS200’s fascia is its biggest strength, featuring a face similar to Bumblee, from popular movie series, Transformers.
2. New Colours
When we say new colours, we mean Bajaj considering re-launching the iconic Yellow. Currently, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 gets Burnt Red, Pewter Grey and White. We also wish Bajaj launched single-tone colours with less clutter for a cleaner look.
3. New Instrumentation
Ever since it was launched, Pulsar RS200 got the same semi-digital instrument cluster as Pulsar NS 200 with an analogue tacho. This cluster lacks Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Something the new Pulsar NS200 gets. 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 might get the same cluster.
4. Taller Windshield
The fully faired bodywork of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 does an excellent job of deflecting wind blasts. However, taller riders prefer to install taller windshields on their Pulsar RS200. Offering one as a standard might prove beneficial.
5. Adjustable Levers
When Bajaj launched its ‘Biggest Ever Pulsar’ in the form of Pulsar NS400Z, it got an adjustable clutch and brake levers. We hope Bajaj offers the same with 2025 Pulsar RS200 as well, allowing riders to riders to set up the levers at their convenience.
6. USD Telescopic Front Forks
Owing to its Supersport genre, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will definitely benefit from USD telescopic front forks, offering better handling characteristics than the current RSU telescopic units. USD forks will complement Pulsar RS200’s already potent perimeter frame, allowing riders to carry more speeds into corners.
7. Same Liquid-Cooled Heart
We can expect Bajaj to carry over the same 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled KTM-derived engine as the current model. This engine generates 24.5 PS of peak power and 18.7 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
8. Attractive Price Point
With improved features, technology and better components, 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 will be priced higher than it is today. However, we hope the price doesn’t deviate significantly from the current Rs 1.74 lakh (Ex-sh) price tag.
