One of India’s leading 125cc scooter manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), has closed the sales account for the month of December 2025 on a positive note. The company is known in India for its Access 125 scooter along with its Burgman maxi scooter lineup. Gixxer range, however, needs a thorough update to rekindle interests in the country.
With a total sales number of 1,22,366 units, Suzuki registered a positive growth in both YoY and MoM aspects. There was a 26.41% YoY growth over 96,804 units sold in December 2024 and a hair of positive growth MoM at 0.05%, over 1,22,300 units sold in November 2025. Volume gain stood at 25,562 units YoY and 66 units MoM. Let’s break down the numbers further.
Suzuki 2W Sales Dec 2025
The 1,22,366 units sold in December 2025 was rather respectable as it brought Suzuki positive growth in both YoY and MoM aspects. Splitting the sales numbers further, we can see that Suzuki sold 97,823 units in the domestic market, which accounted for almost 80% of the company’s total sales. 79.94%, to be precise.
This gave Suzuki a 24.09% YoY growth, when compared to 78,834 units sold a year ago, gaining 18,989 units in volume YoY. The company’s most popular product is Access, which is a 125cc family format scooter, followed by Burgman 125, which is a maxi-style 125cc scooter, with a unique styling proposition.
Where exports are concerned, Suzuki shipped out 24,543 units in total last month, which accounted for 20.06% of Suzuki’s total sales. There was an impressive 36.58% YoY growth, when compared to 17.970 units gaining 6,573 units in volume. The 25,940 units sold in November 2025 ensured there was a 5.39% MoM decline in sales, losing 1,397 units in volume.
Q4 CY25 and YTD Sales
In Q4 of calendar year 2025, Suzuki sold a total of 3,73,927 units, which led to a 20.15% YoY growth, gaining 62,698 units in volume. This number consisted of both domestic sales and exports accounting for 79.6% and 20.4% of Suzuki’s total sales, respectively. Domestic sales stood at 2,97,637 units and exports were at 76,290 units.
YTD, Suzuki managed to fall in the Greens as the company sold a total of 10,62,167 units which garnered a 13.77% YoY growth, gaining 1,28,559 units in volume. Domestic YTD sales stood at 8,69,572 units accounting for 81.87% of total sales and saw a 11.61% YoY growth. Exports stood at 1,92,595 units accounting for 18.13% of total sales and saw 24.68% YoY growth.
