The 150cc to 200cc motorcycle segment recorded a healthy year-on-year growth in November 2025, even as month-on-month volumes declined from the festive-heavy October period. Total sales for the segment stood at 1,75,805 units in November 2025, up from 1,45,968 units in November 2024, translating into a growth of 20.44 percent YoY. 150cc to 200cc Motorcycle Sales Nov 2025
TVS Apache continued to dominate the segment, leading with 48,764 units sold in November 2025. This marked a strong YoY growth of nearly 37 percent, although sales were down by over 20 percent compared to October. Bajaj Pulsar followed closely with 45,246 units, also registering a robust YoY growth of over 37 percent, but witnessing a similar MoM decline. Together, Apache and Pulsar accounted for a significant share of the 150–200cc category, underlining their continued mass appeal.
Honda Unicorn held the third position with 32,968 units, showing steady performance with modest YoY and MoM growth. Yamaha’s entry into the segment with the XSR made a strong impact, clocking 16,359 units in November 2025, making it one of the standout performers. In contrast, Yamaha’s more established models such as FZ, R15 and MT-15 witnessed sharp declines on both YoY and MoM bases, reflecting shifting consumer preferences within the brand’s portfolio.
Honda SP160 recorded 5,920 units with a healthy YoY growth of nearly 33 percent, while Hero Xpulse 200 continued to post stable numbers at 2,501 units, growing close to 30 percent year-on-year despite a MoM drop. Honda Hornet 2.0 also delivered a notable YoY jump, more than doubling its volumes compared to November 2024, although monthly growth remained modest.
KTM 200 range maintained stable sales at 2,787 units with marginal YoY growth, but saw a sizeable MoM correction. Other models such as Hero Xtreme 160R/200, Bajaj Avenger, Honda CB200X and Suzuki Gixxer reported mixed performance, with some registering mild YoY growth but facing MoM pressure. Kawasaki W175 recorded no sales during November 2025, continuing its subdued run in the segment.
Key takeaways (brand-wise)
TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto clearly dominated the 150cc–200cc motorcycle segment in November 2025, together accounting for over half the segment volumes, led by Apache and Pulsar respectively. Honda maintained a strong third position with the Unicorn continuing to anchor volumes, supported by SP 160 and Hornet 2.0. Yamaha’s overall volumes remained flat YoY, as strong traction for the XSR was offset by sharp declines in FZ, MT-15 and R15. Hero MotoCorp, KTM and Suzuki remained niche players in this segment, while Kawasaki did not register any sales in November 2025.
