Royal Enfield closed December 2025 on a positive note, registering steady growth both on a year-on-year and month-on-month basis, while also posting strong cumulative numbers for the FY2026 year-to-date period (April–December 2025). The performance highlights continued demand for its core 350cc portfolio, even as volumes in the above 350cc segment showed some moderation.

In December 2025, Royal Enfield reported total sales of 1,03,574 units, marking a 30.34% year-on-year growth over 79,466 units sold in December 2024. Growth was largely driven by the 350cc motorcycle range, which clocked 95,480 units, up by 37.43% YoY compared to 69,476 units last year. In contrast, motorcycles in the above 350cc category declined by 18.98% YoY to 8,094 units, indicating softer demand in the higher-capacity segment.

On the domestic front, Royal Enfield sold 93,177 units in December 2025, registering a strong 37.24% YoY growth over 67,891 units in December 2024. Exports, however, dipped by 10.18% YoY to 10,397 units, compared to 11,575 units in the same month last year.

Month on Month Performance

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, Royal Enfield’s overall performance remained stable. Total sales grew by 2.88%, rising from 1,00,670 units in November 2025 to 1,03,574 units in December 2025. The above 350cc segment recorded a 5.72% MoM growth, adding 5,168 units, while the 350cc segment saw a sharper 21.86% decline, down by 2,264 units. Domestic sales grew modestly by 3.07% MoM, while exports inched up by 1.29%, indicating relative stability in overseas markets.

Looking at the FY2026 year-to-date (April–December 2025) performance, Royal Enfield posted total sales of 9,21,098 units, a healthy 26.69% growth over 7,27,077 units sold during the same period last fiscal. The above 350cc motorcycles remained the backbone of the brand, contributing 8,06,276 units, up 29.05% YoY, while the 350cc segment grew by 12.23% to 1,14,822 units.

Domestic sales during the FY YTD period stood at 8,21,908 units, growing 25.89% YoY, while exports rose sharply by 33.64% to 99,190 units, highlighting Royal Enfield’s expanding global footprint.

Overall, Royal Enfield’s December and FY YTD numbers underline the brand’s continued strength in the mid-capacity motorcycle space, with strong domestic demand and improving export performance, even as it navigates evolving preferences within its higher-capacity portfolio.
