This is the second price hike for VF 7 and VF 6 since launch, after the introductory offer for both SUVs ended in January this year
Vinfast has increased prices for VF 7 and VF 6 electric SUVs with immediate effect. This price hike is likely due to an increase in production costs. Both SUVs were launched last year in September, with prices starting at Rs 16.49 lakh for VF 6 and Rs 20.89 lakh for VF 7.
Vinfast VF 7 – New price August 2026
Prices of Vinfast VF 7 have been increased in the range of Rs 1.10 lakh to Rs 1.13 lakh. The SUV is now available in the price range of Rs 22.99 lakh to Rs 28.09 lakh. Primary rivals include Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV. Vinfast VF 7 has five variants and the price hike varies accordingly. These variants are Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity.
VF 7 Earth base variant is equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack. Offered in FWD configuration, the base variant generates 130 kW (177 PS) and 250 Nm of torque. Certified range (as per MIDC Part 1 + Part 2 Cycle) is 438 km. All other variants of VF 7 utilize a larger 70 kWh battery pack. However, performance and range figures vary.
Wind and Wind Infinity generate 150 kW (204 PS) and 310 Nm. These are available in FWD configuration. Certified range is 532 km. VF 7 Sky and Sky Infinity variants have AWD and these generate 260 kW (353 PS) and 500 Nm. These have a certified range of 510 km. Acceleration is pretty good, with 0 to 100 km/h achievable in just 5.8 seconds.
Vinfast VF 6 – New prices August 2026
Prices of Vinfast VF 6 have been increased by Rs 90,000. This is applicable on all three variants – Earth, Wind and Wind Infinity. With the upward price revision, VF 6 is now available in the price range of Rs 18.19 lakh to Rs 20.09 lakh. The SUV competes with rivals like Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv and MG ZS EV.
All variants of Vinfast VF 6 are equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and utilise a FWD setup. The base variant Earth generates 130 kW (177 PS), whereas the other two variants have output of 150 kW (204 PS). Certified range is 468 km for the base variant and 463 km for VF6 Wind and Wind Infinity variants.
Both VF 6 and VF 7 offer a comprehensive range of premium features. Key highlights include ventilated front seats, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, an 8-speaker audio system and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also included are features like OTA updates, on-board diagnostics, head-up display (HUD), air filter, HVAC, keyless entry and wireless charger.
Safety is pretty robust with both VF 7 and VF 6 getting a 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests. Key safety features include electronic stability control, traction control system, hill start assist, 7 airbags, roll over mitigation, 360 degree surround view monitoring and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). A comprehensive range of ADAS features are also available with the higher variants.
