To strengthen its market position in India, VinFast is looking to expand its portfolio across multiple segments

VinFast entered the Indian EV space with VF6 and VF7, and is currently the fourth bestselling EV brand in the country, based on monthly volumes. Multiple new products are planned to be launched, one of which is the Limo Green MPV. This 7-seater MPV will take on rivals like Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7. Ahead of its launch, the Limo Green MPV has been spied in full camouflage. Spy shots are credited to automotive enthusiast Abhi and Syed.

VinFast electric MPV – Design and features

While the test mule is heavily camouflaged, the overall silhouette and visible elements such as the lighting indicate that this is likely the Limo Green MPV sold overseas. Test mules of the Limo Green electric MPV have been spotted earlier as well. In these latest images, one can see part of the full-width LED strip, which also integrates the VinFast logo in the centre. One can also notice the distinctive, vertically stacked profile of the headlamp housings.

Side profile has circular wheel arches, dual-tone ORVMs with integrated turn signals and conventional door handles. The test mule can be seen using aero-optimized alloy wheels. Windows in the first and second rows are quite large, which should allow panoramic views of the outside world. The roof remains largely flat, although a slight dip is noticeable towards the rear.

Lighting elements at the rear have a similar profile, as seen at the front. The MPV has a stylish layered roof spoiler, a shark fin antenna and a chunky bumper. Another distinctive feature is the vertical vents, which add more dynamism to the rear profile. ‘Limo Green’ badging in chrome finish is expected on the tailgate. As compared to other cars on the road, the test mule appears to have a sizable road presence.

Dimensions are expected to be largely the same as the Limo Green sold overseas. The electric MPV is 4,740 mm long, 1,872 mm wide, 1,729 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2,840 mm. International-spec Limo Green rides on 18-inch wheels and has a ground clearance of 180 mm. Overall, the Limo Green blends SUV-like styling with MPV elegance in a well-balanced package.

Interior, equipment list

While interiors are not clearly visible in these spy shots, there is strong evidence that most of the features are largely the same as the model sold overseas. For context, a centrally mounted touchscreen appears to be a 10.1-inch unit. This is similar to the touchscreen installed with the global-spec model. Other key features expected include wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered front seats and automatic climate control.
