TVS Apache 70 Lakh Sales Record

Apache range has consistently ranked in the list of top 10 motorcycles and is currently the bestseller in the 150cc-200cc segment

With sporty styling and exhilarating performance backed by decades of motorsport experience, the TVS Apache range is among the preferred options for enthusiasts. In addition to the domestic market, TVS Apache bikes are sold across more than 90 countries. In the latest development, TVS Apache range has achieved a major milestone of acquiring over 7 million customers globally. TVS has also launched its ‘Tu Race Laga’ brand campaign to highlight the performance and racing DNA of Apache bikes.

TVS Apache 7 million milestone, 5 lakh strong community

Two decades of relentless efforts and innovation have shaped the Apache success story. This has now culminated in a large global customer base of 7 million. The first one in this lineup was TVS Apache 150, launched in 2005. The core idea behind Apache bikes was to make the track experience accessible to the masses. To make this work, TVS utilized its decades of experience in competitive motorsport.

Over the years, the Apache family has grown to seven models. Latest addition is the Apache RTX 300, which was launched in October 2025. The evolution continues, as TVS will be launching its first parallel-twin bike soon. This will be based on the new 420cc engine platform developed by BMW. TVS has already filed a design patent for its new parallel-twin bike.

TVS has also reported that its Apache community now has 5 lakh registered members. This has been made possible with a plethora of rider engagement programs including racing and track events. To celebrate such milestones, TVS has launched its ‘Tu Race Laga’ brand campaign. The campaign celebrates the spirit of racing and inspires viewers to adopt a competitive approach on the track as well as in their lives.

Focus on continuous improvements

TVS Apache bikes are preferred for their performance-oriented innovations and advanced tech features. A relevant example is the 312.2cc liquid cooled, reverse-inclined DOHC engine that offers a class-leading power to weight ratio. TVS has also developed the Race-Tuned Dynamic Stability Control system, which has various features such as launch control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cornering cruise control, wheelie control and rear lift off control.

Other segment-first innovations seen with TVS Apache bikes include ride modes, fuel injection, glide-through technology and keyless access. TVS is also among the select brands that offer customization options directly from the factory. Other notable features seen with Apache bikes include race-tuned KYB suspension, bi-directional quickshifter and race-tuned winglets. A comprehensive range of connectivity features are available via the SmartXonnect platform.

Going forward, TVS will aggressively target the premium segment in European and other developed markets with Norton Motorcycles. The ultra-premium and flagship Norton models will be manufactured in the UK and likely exported globally including India. In comparison, mid-capacity Norton models will be made in India and exported globally. Such projects are expected to benefit from the India-UK trade deal and the upcoming India-EU trade deal.
