Sales for models in the sub-350cc segment rose sharply, while larger models above 350cc suffered serious setback
Royal Enfield, a leading player in the two-wheeler segment in India, ended Dec 2025 on a positive note. The company recorded double-digit YoY growth of 37.24%, reaching 93,177 units, up from 67,891 units in Dec 2024. MoM sales also rose, with a 3.07% increase over 90,405 units sold in Nov 2025. The company’s 350cc portfolio drove sales, while higher segment bikes faced lower demand.
Royal Enfield Sales Breakup Dec 2025
With strong domestic growth in Dec 2025, Royal Enfield’s 350cc bikes led sales. The Classic 350 remained the company’s top seller, with 34,958 units sold last month. This marked a 17.95% YoY and 0.47% MoM growth, giving it a 37.52% share of company sales. The RE Bullet 350 also recorded steady YoY and MoM growth.
Last month, Bullet sold 24,849 units, up 76.87% YoY from 14,049 units. MoM sales improved by 20.94% compared to 20,547 units previously. RE Hunter 350cc also saw strong YoY demand, which increased by 50.28% to 20,654 units from 13,744 units. This was a volume increase of 6,910 units with a 22.17% share of the company portfolio.
MoM sales, however, suffered a marginal decline by 0.66%. The fourth bike in the 350cc segment was the Meteor, of which the company sold 10,097 units last month, marking a 58.61% YoY growth. It was also a 0.06% increase from 10,091 units sold in Nov 2025.
350cc+ Motorcycle Sales
Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450 in the mid-capacity motorcycle segment saw lower demand. Himalayan sales slipped to 979 units, a 23.81% YoY and 19.82% MoM decline. RE’s 650 Twins that include the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have also ended Dec 2025 with significantly lower sales at 748 units, down by 48.91% YoY and 57.64% MoM. There had been 1,464 units and 1,018 units sold in Dec 2024 and Nov 2025, respectively.
Guerilla 450 roadster also registered lower sales at 408 units in the past month, a 49.88% YoY and 38.46% MoM decline. This was a volume loss of 406 units YoY and 255 units MoM. Lower down the sales order was the Super Meteor. This cruiser bike has seen improved demand in Dec 2025 with 344 unit sales, up 19.44% from 244 units in December 2024.
Its MoM sales dipped by 21.64% over 439 units sold in Nov 2025. Shotgun 650, based on the Super Meteor platform, has seen lower YoY performance at 140 units, marking a 42.62% decline, but its MoM sales have rebounded by 50.54% over 93 units sold in Nov 2025.
