New Bajaj Pulsar N160 Blue Colour Images Leak – Reveals More Details

New Bajaj Pulsar N160 Blue Colour

Bajaj Auto continues to build anticipation ahead of the launch of the updated Pulsar N160 on August 12. After teasing a lightly camouflaged motorcycle earlier this week, the company has now shared another teaser that offers a much closer look at the upcoming bike. Interestingly, the latest teaser also appears to confirm that the spy shots doing the rounds online are indeed that of the new Pulsar N160.

New Design Sketch Revealed

Unlike the previous teaser that only showed a camouflaged motorcycle from the side, the latest teaser features a desk filled with engineering blueprints and design drawings. The highlight is a detailed rendering of the upcoming naked motorcycle, revealing several styling elements despite the bright lighting effect placed over the engine area.

One of the biggest takeaways is the confirmation of a revised front fascia. The motorcycle gets a redesigned headlamp housing with sharper-looking LED DRLs, giving it a more aggressive appearance than the current model. The tank extensions also appear to have been slightly reworked, while the side panels feature updated graphics.

Another interesting detail is the front suspension. The design sketch clearly shows conventional telescopic front forks instead of the gold USD forks seen on an earlier camouflaged test mule. This raises an interesting question. Bajaj could be preparing multiple variants of the updated Pulsar N160, or the previously spotted USD-equipped prototype could belong to another upcoming Pulsar model. An official confirmation is expected at the launch.

Most Mechanicals Likely Unchanged

Apart from the refreshed styling, the motorcycle appears to retain much of the existing hardware. The perimeter frame, underbelly exhaust, split-seat layout, alloy wheel design and rear monoshock all look familiar.

Braking duties continue to be handled by disc brakes at both ends. The engine also appears unchanged in the teaser. It is expected to continue with the familiar 164.82cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 16 PS and 14.65 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.

Feature Upgrades Expected

While the mechanical package may remain largely unchanged, the updated Pulsar N160 is expected to receive equipment upgrades. One of the most likely additions is Bajaj’s new colour LCD instrument cluster that recently debuted with the new Pulsar 125. It could bring Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indicator and improved graphics.

The launch is scheduled for August 12, where Bajaj is expected to reveal full details of the updated Pulsar N160. With the company planning a major festive season product offensive, more Pulsar models are also likely to follow in the coming weeks.
