In the UK, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke is being offered at a base price of 5,699 GBP, which is approx. Rs 6.90 lakh
KTM has launched the 2026 390 Duke across global markets with improved braking performance and a new colour option. While the colour options vary based on the market, functional improvements might be introduced in India as well. The 390 Duke is a popular bike here and has consistently ranked in the top 10 list of bestselling 350-450cc bikes. Let’s check out the details of the 2026 model.
2026 KTM 390 Duke – What’s new?
Across international markets, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke has been equipped with a new WP FCR4 front brake calliper. This new setup is promising enhanced braking performance, giving riders more confidence to explore the bike’s full potential. The new WP FCR4 front brake calliper is made of lightweight yet strong materials. Without the pads, it weighs just around 740 grams. This makes it one of the lightest in its class. The calliper is made using high-strength alloy via specialized processes to ensure optimal stiffness.
With its 4-piston configuration, the setup ensures superior modulation and big-bike feedback. The calliper has advanced airflow passages, which help dissipate heat in an efficient manner. This reduces brake fade, which can occur at a faster rate during aggressive braking. Another benefit is that brake drag is reduced with the use of internal seals. This reduces pad wear and improves overall fuel efficiency.
Other hardware is the same as earlier. The bike has 320 mm and 240 mm disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively. Suspension setup comprises WP APEX 43 mm USD forks at the front with 150 mm of travel. At the rear, the bike has WP APEX monoshock suspension with 150 mm of travel. The front suspension is compression and rebound adjustable whereas the rear suspension is rebound adjustable with option for a preload adjuster.
New colour
Across international markets, the 2026 KTM 390 Duke gets a new matte blue colour option. This is in addition to the Gun Metal Grey colour option that was already available earlier. This grey colour is also available in India. Here, the 390 Duke has two more colour options – Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue. The new matte blue shade has the new colour on the fuel tank and tank extensions. This colour scheme does not get the ‘Duke’ lettering and the focus is exclusively on highlighting the ‘390’ in a big font.
Performance, features
Powering the 2026 KTM 390 Duke is the same engine as earlier. The 398.7 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine generates 46 PS and 39 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike uses a split-trellis frame with an aluminium casted rear sub-frame. Tech kit includes a 5-inch bonded glass TFT dashboard that displays a range of information including turn-by-turn navigation.
Users can access a wide range of advanced rider aids such as motorcycle traction control (MTC), track screen, launch control, cornering ABS, ride-by-wire tech, quickshifter+ and SuperMoto ABS. Ride modes of Street and Rain are available. There’s a Type-C charging port as well for added convenience.
